The hotel staff were nice and helpful and the room was kept very clean. The beds were comfy but small.
The room was tiny. We were two friends and our 'twin' beds were only an inch apart. We had a funny shaped bathroom to accomodate the lift shaft and consequently a miniscule shower - I'm only 5 foot and I couldn't move around in it. The toilet seat was very thin and uncomfortable - never seen anything like it. The breakfast was pretty poor quality - over salty eggs if you were lucky enough to get there in time for scrambled, fake fruit juice, foul coffee. We booked the hotel because it came with a beach but you had to pay extra for that and it played very loud music at rather random intervals. The hotel was 20 mins outside Rimini by bus or 20 euros in a taxi. In that area there was absolutely nothing but equally old fashioned hotels, karaoke bars and tacky kiss me quick shops. So absolutely hopeless on a rainy day. We paid exactly the same for a hotel in Bologna a few days later and it was like the Ritz in comparison. The hotel was designed for German families and no other market. Great if you like sausage I guess.
