It was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was average. The wifi connection was poor.
Staff were brilliant. Good service.
The history of the hotel. Excellent location. Friendly staff.
Old facilities. Room in basement felt damp.
All round beautiful hotel with exceptional views and great service. The place has character, and class. Perfect
Fantastic views of the coast. Very romantic. The staff goes out of it's way to make you feel special.
The view was amazing. Lovely vibe
No gym facilities
Very friendly staff, superb location
Our room was very cold and the manager tried to convince us it was fine. When I went up to the lobby I finally felt warm. They put us in another room after I begged that it was late and I wan't to be comfortably warm and sleep. This room's heat was also broken until they sent for a mechanic to fix it. The lobby is historically beautiful but the rooms are very shabby like a 2 star hotel. Also had to pay e25 a day to park in a shed. We left after 1 night even though booked for 2 nights. I expect to get my second night fee refunded by you. It was a horrifying experience because the manager was so nasty.
Elegant hotel, beautiful interior, very nice location close to the square & other sites. Delightful staff.
The only reason we ranked the breakfast as poor was that we couldn't get one nor dinner at the restaurant.
The location was unbelievable...possibly the most beautiful location I've ever stayed. The hotel was very nice.
The views were breathtaking from our room as well from the dining area and the gardens. We rented a junior suite and were delighted with the exquisite antiques, the lofty view of the mountains and sea below, and the sweet patio where we were able to enjoy our own private happy hour. The room was small, but it was perfect for our needs. The morning breakfasts were sumptuous and the service was friendly and prompt. This booking definitely exceeded our expectations.
We booked a suite with a view. The hotel is magnificent. The view spectacular - the room not so wonderful. The bathroom was old & dirty. We expressed our disappointment. They moved us to a luxurious newly renovated suite with a gorgeous bathroom. We would have stayed for a week.
They should have given us the nicer suite in the beginning if it was empty.
Beautiful hotel and a stunning small town in the hills. Boutique style hotel with lots of historic interest and unique detailing. Beautiful gardens and view too,
The room got very hot and with the air conditioning on, it was a bit loud but no real problems
Stayed in scala suite on our wedding night- spacious suite with plenty of room for myself and bridesmaids to get ready, less than a minutes walk to the town hall gardens where our ceremony was. Staff supplied us with champagne flutes and allowed early check-in at 12.
For the price of the suite an outdoor terrace or at least a balcony would have been nice. Breakfast choice was very limited. No swimming pool.
The staff were incredible helpful and friendly. The hotel was beautiful
Location and friendliness/ attentiveness of staff
Wanted a room with a view which we were taken to, but it smelled of humidity and mustiness. We were given one in the new wing, which was nice, but no view.
12th century building with lovely gardens and fantastic sea view
No swimming pool
Location was priceless, view to die for. Restaurant is literally perched overlooking Atrani bay, hard to beat. Junior suite was spacious and clean. Above all expectations. Will be back.
Lack of pool.
This is not a 5 star hotel. There isnt even a pool or any fitness facilities. There is no lift and the hotel looks extremely tired.
-Location is in the upper scale area of Ravello, next to two very high end hotels - The view in one of the buildings is excellent
-The hotel has two buildings, with one far away from all facilities - The main building, an old palace converted into a hotel, is very tired and badly needs renovation. - The infrastructure is ancient. There is no elevator and the restaurant and breakfast is served on the 4th floor - The Wi Fi system is antiquated and very cumbersome to use - Staff have poor English skills - Jacuzzi is a joke, a small plastic container, in the middle of the grass
