Relax on the grounds at this friendly hotel, in the popular area of San Lorenzo in the center of Rome, surrounded by typical restaurants and cafés.
Score from 1018 reviews Very good
Hotel Verona Rome is located a few steps from the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. You can walk to both Roma Termini Train Station and the Coliseum. Rooms are elegant and air-conditioned.
Score from 105 reviews Very good
The Orazia Hotel is set on the top floor of an early 20th-century building in Rome's Piazza Vittorio Emanuele square, right above the Vittorio Metro Station.
Score from 732 reviews Good
Just 320 yards from Roma Termini Train Station, Hotel Impero features a furnished terrace overlooking Rome’s rooftops and the nearby Opera Theatre. A varied buffet breakfast is served daily.

The staff at this hotel were brilliant , always had a smile on there face ! Wifi was good also and we had a lovely terrace !
Room was slightly small , but for all the time you spend in it , it was fine !!
The location was just far enough out of the heart of rome but close enough to still enjoy the rome expreince. The staff were friendly and helpful especially were to eat
breakfast was minimal and the coffee at happy hour was cold and of poor quality. The elevator was very smalll so if you have large luggage or more than one bag you will not fit in there with your bags.
The location in a lovely neighborhood of Rome away from the tourist crowds was excellent with good neighborhood restaurants and convenient public transportation. Victoria at the front desk was especially pleasant and helpful and she provided excellent information concerning places to see in Rome and the easiest ways to get there. The breakfast service was perfect with good variety and healthy choices.
The facility has obviously seen better days. Everything appeared to be very worn...the carpeting, walls, lobby furniture, etc. Our standard double room was extraordinarily small! Had we brought larger suitcases we would not have be able to move in the room. There was no place to store even our small carry-ons which we finally tucked under a table which also contained a fridge that did not work.
breakfast place looks good, although the food is classic sweet-only italian breakfast. room is ok.
the room floor was carpet, they have to prepare towel for your feet to wear. we asked staff for this. first one ignored, but second one was quick to solve. At all, we thought the price was much for this b&b.
Great location. I walked to Colosseum, Parthenon, Villa Borghese, etc.
- staff was very helpful - room cleaned every day - nice big breakfast - possibility to book a private car to the airport - nice decorations
- not actually a 4 star hotel. I would say 3 star for sure. - wifi signal was spotty at times - far from the city center, outside "the walls" of Rome
The staff was Great! Very kind and helpful The room was kind of small, but real nice. The water pressure in the shower was great and the water was nice and hot
The hotel needs to have a facelift and an improvement on the breakfast. But that is minor and can be easily overlooked. The elevator is real slow.
Personal was super and they helped me max!!! Thanks :))
Bathroom was broke
located in a safe area of Rome helpful reception staff we loved our room
poor almost non-existent wi-fi in our room (but quite a strong signal at breakfast so not an issue) slightly under-staffed during breakfast (but we admit there was a nice selection of food between 7-8.30am so no complaints there!)
The hotel is nice, it has a beautiful little garden where you can have your breakfast and enjoy the beggining of the day! The staff is very nice, the receptionist was very helpful and she gave me a lot of useful information, thanks to her I never had troubles with getting to the center or coming back, visiting some places in Rome or going shopping. The hotel situates in a nice and quiet area, a little bit far from the city center, so you need to take a bus, but the connection with city center is well organised, I ve never spent more than 15 minutes at the bus stop. There is a lovely pizzeria not far away from the hotel (a few bus stops in the direction to center), that I definitely recommed!
The staff were very hepfull. Hotel has own Garage - comfortable. Сервис Персонала был очень любезен. Спасибо Giorgio! Частный гараж при гостинице- удобно.
The home away feeling added with a great staff.
Quite & serene location, bus access is a short walk. The staff was so so helpful & courteous. They arranged transportation for my large family & friends with a lot of baggage to & from the airport. I would stay here again!
Air conditioning could be stronger
Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Blackout curtains worked well and the room was quiet. A comfortable bed and the shower was really good. We were close enough to local restaurants and the park opposite is beautiful. Bus routes and trams into city centre and vatican were close by and took about 15 minutes to reach the city centre.
This hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel (probably 2 star). The carpets in the hall ways and bedrooms were frayed and not that clean. Fittings in the bathroom were incomplete and the ones that had been repaired were a bit cobbled together. We had no hot water one night but I guess a boiler problem can happen at any hotel and it was rectified as quickly as they could.
Maps were printed of how to get to city and came with an explanation. Wonderful staff. Upgraded to 5th floor with balcony, to enjoy sunshine.
Friendly staff room service Breakfast Clean room
small bathroom old windows noise from the refrigirator dirty elevator
excellent position, good breakfast, room clean and quite
Great breakfast selection, very nice staff, quiet location outside the centre which suited my requirements and a stones throw from some lovely non touristic restaurants and the wonderful Villa Ada, the most beautiful park in Rome.
Everything was very nice thanx a lot ..
staff was really nice! thank you!
Single room was super small - about 6 sq m. Cold omelet every day, juice made of powder. Internet connection is very-very poor.
No Wi-Fi in the room on the second floor, plus no hot water in the morning of our check out.
The hotel is within easy reach to the city centre by bus no: 63 and 83. Hotel room is quite ok and the beds are comfortable enough. Buffet breakfast is also fine. The staff at the Panama Hotel are very nice especially the receptionist Noemi.
In my opinion it is good value for money but the hotel does need an uplift.
value for money its a good place to stay in Rome if you dont mind to travel to major attractions for 20-30 minutes.
Room was not as large as it was expected and described on site.
