Convenience Friendly staff
Location, comfort of room.
Very helpful staff, close enough to walk to all of Rome's destinations. Comfortable rooms, noisy if right on street but quiets later in evening. Excellent location and very reasonable.
Foremost I liked the people there, especially the lady at the reception "Sonia" , She was so helpful, I reached this hotel fearing for the worst as my wallet was pick pocketed in the metro, she made me feel comfortable and did not make any fuss on the hotel payments etc.. , Rest of the stay was also very enjoyable, although the rooms are not very big though for a single person, it was comfortable enough, thank you and look forward to visiting the hotel again.
Convenient location quiet felt safe and secure
Location, charm, price!
3 flights up to reception, then spiral staircase up to our room, charming but exhausting!! Glad I experienced staying there!
Hotel Panda is wonderfully situated near The Spanish Steps and near to Spagna Metro Station. The bedroom is not large, and the shower-room rather cramped, but the worst thing is the fact that, although our room didn't suffer from noise at all from the front of the hotel in the Via della Croce, there certainly was a huge amount of noise throughout the night emanating from a generator in the courtyard at the back. We resorted to buying earplugs in order to get some sleep, but the first night was exceedingly noisy and disturbed. Sadly, that alone is reason enough not to recommend Hotel Panda to other travellers.
Far too much noise coming from a generator in the courtyard at the back of the hotel where our room was situated.
Location & the price.
No clock in the room.
Fantastic location, clean and comfortable room.
position was excellent to access all areas and the rates fair. Bed really comfortable and room clean. Places to eat very close and not expensive. Although hotel does not do breakfast they have a great deal with an adjacent cafe.
We were the last to book in so got the last room in the roof although we had booked weeks before, which was not great as very hot but reception did give us a key for the air conditioning to cool the room. Likewise would not like to be the room immediately by the reception desk.
The location, staff, beds and cleanliness were all great. Hotel Panda is basic in terms of facilities but it's a great budget hotel in the heart of Rome.
Location was excellent. The hotel provides basic clean facilities. Staff and cleaners helpful mostly. Good value for money. Kindly offered us the use of the communal bathroom after we had checked out so we could have a shower before we left on our long flight to NZ.
The dirty entrance hallway at ground level. A bit off putting on arrival. The lack of a full lift but you get what you pay for so we were prepared for this.
Cleanliness, and location. Friendly staff.
To was a little cramped.
location, money,friendly service,
bed are not the greatest
Small, clean air conditioned privet corner of my own in the best area in the amazing Rome. Great people made it like home. Thank you ladies.
Helpful staff Quiet Toilets/showers were always available Generally clean
Very small rooms
Great location. Good value for money. Good air conditioning. Quiet. Very clean. Wonderful hook system and furniture to fit all 4 suitcases in small (normal European hotel room).
Used filter to book for 4 adults. The room we got with bunk beds were too small for 16 year olds. Thought they would be the height of those in youth hostels.
Easy access. Great location. Cheap.
Room was very small - it'd be tiny for 2 people. No access to a fridge was a bit of a pain (basic cooking access would be a huge benefit in Rome!).
Clean. Organized. Comfortable.
Location near Spanish Steps but far from many other sights.
Yep conveniant central location great well I'm coming back to italy next year and will hopefully book up at the panda again
The location was perfect right in the middle of everything.
I think there should be a refregerator in the rooms so we can store some milk and water or some fruits
Value for money, small but delightful
Smallest bathroom outside of a yacht
Loved our quadruple room; perfect for a family of four.
Loved the room which was small, but managed to squeeze everything in, in a delightful manner. Loved the little mezzanine bed and the wash basin above us.
Location is fine, close to Spanish steps. Nearby there is a grocery store, lots of cafes. Although the breakfast was not included, it is possible to get it for 5€ in a good pasticeria nearby. The room although small but we'll-organized
The towel one day were not clean. Air conditioning is very noisy. Poor WiFi quality on some days, no working internet connection on others - had to share phone's 3g connection, although the coverage is not good there - had to leave the phone close to the window. i also stayed in another hotel in Rome with the same price but it was much better
