Hotel Panorama    

Great location! We had a suite. Very spacious., very clean. Panorama hotel had the best breakfast, best value. Great place to stay along the Amalfi coast, without the costly price!

Great views from the balcony and breakfast area. Good location for activities Fridge in room Restaurant had nice meals.

Air conditioning was turned off, and the room was stifling especially as I didn't know air conditioning was off and I had the room all closed off waiting for the coolness to kick in. It was +28 degrees Celsius and the sun was bearing down and people were on the beach swimming and the air conditioning was off due to a hotel policy and the time of year. Staff did not communicate this fact, and it was not made known the website. In all fairness when I communicated with staff re the fact that I was feeling I'll due to the heat of the room after discovering the airconditioningwas not on and despite opening the door and window the room was still stifling hot , the staff on my request found a fan and as compensation offered a free dinner. But in all honesty itwouldhave been niceto have even pre- warned that the airconditioningwas was not on.

The hotel is right in front of the sea in a small and peaceful town called Maiori. It is a perfect choice on the Amalfi Coast if you go by car. Positano and Amalfi are surely more interesting cities but at the same time they are too crowded and too difficult to move around as they are built over very steep hills that cling over the coast. Maiori is a good option with a good cost benefit relation and a more authentic environment (less touristic). La Vela is a good restaurant run by a simpathetic family a few meters from Panorama. Very nice people on front desk were very helpful in suggesting touring options in Napoli, Pompei and the coast.

4th floor room had terrace above it: so very noisy in morning.

The location was great, right on the beach. The view from the roof top Panorama bar is fantastic.

The Hotel's beach is private but you still have to pay for chairs and umbrellas.

The room furnishing is a bit old, it's ok in all, but the AC is too loud and works not very well and the taps leak. The staff at the reception most of the time are a bit unnatending (but still completed all request efficiently). The information about the private beach facilities (can be accessed on request and at an additional cost only) should be writen in the main part of the hotel description (add 10 - 20 EUR plus to the cost of staying or go to the public beach).

They were in a beautiful location, the pool was not huge but incredibly kid friendly, the breakfast was good with the coffee being excellent, the cleaning staff were wonderful, lovely place for a break

Almost everything in the hotel was good for us. Te location is perfect, walking along the city of Mayori I was not able to find a hotel better situated, than Panorama. Breakfast is very nice.

Private beacр of the hotel is too expensive. There are several free baches, which is bvery close to the hotel and we used it.

The common areas were beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sleeping rooms and bathroom were standard, but comfortable and clean. The hotel is situated near local shopping and overlooks the beach. The hotel meals were very good and the food was fresh and beautifully presented. The service was also very good. The hotel has a small rooftop pool, outdoor dining and bar area. The views are wonderful and the breeze is fabulous. Maiori is a beautiful seaside town. If we return to this area, I would rebook at this hotel.

The only complaint I have is not unique to this hotel or to Maiori. The heat in July is significant and it has been my experience that the air conditioning in Italy is not particularly efficient, nor does it seem to be valued by the Italians in general. Most places that have air conditioning, leave the doors open which of course allows all of the air conditioning to escape! Maiori has the advantage of sea breezes, so the hotel cuts the air off at 2 A.M. and does not turn it back on until 11:30 A.M. After waking in the middle of the night the first night to find the room too warm, we learned to open the windows to allow evening sea breezes to blow in. It was wonderful!

I really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. It was convenient for beach and shops. The staff were really helpfull and friendly. The room was very spacious, as was the hotel.

The quad room was very large-2 bedrooms! The location was perfect, right across the street from the beach. The balcony was very nice.

peccato che non si possono portare i cani

Hermosamente hubicado frente a la costa, el desayuno rico y abundante se sirve en el ultimo piso desde donde se aprecia una vista espectacular al mar y las montañas. La habitación muy espaciosa y bien equipada

El parking queda a 5 cuadras y tiene un costo de 15 euros por día; igualmente es necesario pues en Maiori como en toda la costa Malfitana, es muy dificil conseguir lugar para estacionar. La playa que pertenece al hotel, tiene costo extra de 10 euros. La piscina es muy pequeña para la cantidad de huèspedes.
