Heating problems in room 326. some condtioner malfunction, we freeeesed. didnt manage to fix in whole day. its suspiciuosly unclear how hotel could'nt check such critical tech in time... (before accomodation)
The historical old building Very friendly and helpful reception staff Nice breakfast Central location
The hotel is private and tucked away, very quiet and peaceful with exceptional staff.
Staff very friendly, really good location, cozy, clean
the location was excellent, the staff were very nice and extremely helpful, especially given that I was travelling with my elderly mother who was in a wheelchair. Room & Bathroom very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good with a good variety.
It is not so much what I didn't like, rather the inconvenience of the high stairs (given that it is a very old building) since my mother was in a wheelchair and this was not in any way expressed on the booking.com website. It should state "Hotel Not Disability Friendly".
The man that ran the desk in the evening, Reyaz (sp?) was a rock star. He even brought a fan from his home to help me sleep at night!
The shower didn't drain very well.
The Location. The door to the street doesn't make it obvious it's a hotel, The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful
Location Nice room
One day cold shower, but solved immediately when I mentioned it
The location is really good just minutes away from The Pantheon and very central. The staff were very friendly and we're happy for us to leave our cases after checking out to collect later on,they also organised a taxi to the airport for €50 which was good value. The breakfast was also good with a selection of cakes and cold food.
Our room was located under the breakfast room and the soundproofing wasn't great but for the price this is a reasonable hotel in the centre of Rome.
- Good location - Breakfast selections were good - Room was large
- Finding the hotel is really difficult - Front desk staff not at all helpful - DO NOT use their car service - they don't help with bags, they drive slower than everyone else on the road, cost more and don't even let you know they've arrived
Brilliant location and excellent value. The hotel is basic but clean and provides all that is needed for a couple of nights in Rome. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. WiFi was fine.
Tricky to find for the first time as you have to ring a bell to have main gate opened. On one night garbage disposal vehicle parked nearly with its compaction unit running. No real complaints though if basis good value accommodation in central Rome is being sought.
Helpfulness of staff, relaxed attitude, good sized room
Wifi good butnot very, noise from street was awakening on a Saturday night
Overall the hotel was as most commented, location was great, breakfast was adequate. Staff was friendly.
The room we had was small for a family of five and not as we had requested. The walls needed painting and the floor showed much wear and tear. The duvets on the bed appeared stained. The biggest disappointment is that the room we thought we were getting was not what we received and was too small for 5 people, not what we payed for.
Great location. Good accommodation. Kind stuff! Good breakfast!
Even with elevator, you need to go through some stairs, it's a bit throuble with the luggage. The entrance is not very clear. I arrived alone at night, so I was a bit confused.
The people at the front desk were so nice and always offering suggestions. What a good location, near all sites. The rooms were quiet and the air worked well.
The beds were a little hard and could use some updating
There is no hotel sign outside the building. Not well kept. Small room.
Staff excellent, old building.
No obvious indication of hotel only a small plaque.at the door. Walked past it 5 times. Which floor to go too , and no indication in lift which floor reception. Basic accommodation paying for location.
The staff was outstandingly friendly and staying in the home of none other than Giuseppe Garibaldi was a cool angel. Very nice restaurants, astonishing sights and fantastic shopping literally right outside the door.
Location location location, close to all major tourist attractions with easy access to buses and trams, with tons of restaurants, cafe and shops, great for hangout and night life. City tour starts and ends here. Two thumbs up.
1. Small breakfast room, literally. 2. Poor wifi, even at the front desk area. Pls upgrade the wifi or it can hardly attract young & mature travelers who eagerly want to share their moments of joy and beauty of city with friends afar. Consider the upgrade seriously pls.
I really liked the friendly, helpful staff and the spaciousness of the room. The Inn is in easy reach of all the major sites.
Breakfast very basic and repetitive each day
Excellent location next to the Pantheon and within walking distance of many historical attractions and shopping. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast is included with the price.
The hotel is within a very old building that is not in great shape and also houses some apartments and offices. The building is dark and uninviting. Even once you find your way to the building it is difficult to find the hotel because there is no one out front to greet you nor are there any clear signs pointing out where it is. The price also seems a little high for what you get.
This hotel is not a fancy place but very nice, and comfortable. The Staff was extremely nice and helpful Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. The location was pefect for where ever you wanted to go in Rome. I would definately stay here again.
Large room, good sized bathroom, friendly, helpful staff. Great location.
Breakfast was disappointing. Didn't expect much for the price we paid but bread was stale, tinned fruit. They had a coffee machine with hot water for the tea but it wasn't hot enough to make tea. No tea making facilities in room. Coffee was ok
Terrace was great. Mind you this was the only one in the hotel. Good sized bathroom.
Breakfast was a bit samish. Only one type of bread for toast and suggest that this be increases to three including a wholemeal one. In contrast there were many pastries which did not seem to be very popular to the predominantly non european clientelle. Suggest you decrease this to offset the expanded bread section.
