Pantheon Royal Suite  

Spectacular view from our room of the Pantheon and fountain below. Excellent breakfast, gracious and helpful staff, lovely decor, very clean, and most of all - the BEST location for sightseeing.

Stayed in a family room for 4 but only had 2 cups for tea or coffee. No glasses or plates in the cupboard and no bottle opener for the complimentary wine. Minor points as once we contacted reception they were happy to supply them.

A good town house hotel in a great location. Ask for a suite overlooking the Pantheon so that you can saviour the atmosphere in the square particularly at night. Breakfast was good, there is a computer with printer in the lounge for guest use - ideal for booking trips and printing boarding passes. Lots of great, inexpensive restaurants around in the side streets although the restaurant outside the hotel offers guests a 15% discount. All sights are walkable from this central location. A tip for your Colosseum visit - don't book a tour with a company, instead go to the monument and ask to buy a ticket for a guided tour at the counter - you will skip the 2 hour queue for standard entrance and the price is much better - we paid about 100e for 6 people having a full ticket and a guided tour of the lower and upper levels (which you can only see with a guide).

Had 'smelly drains' on one day. The receptionist didn't know too much about tours - offered to book some expensive but not comprehensive trips - better to use the computer and search yourself.

It actually has a jacuzzi right under the bed! You literally press the button and the bed lifts up and there's a big bath for two under it.

We stayed at the Pantheon Royal Suite this past February. It was very clean, and a great hotel for a family of 4. They provided us with plenty of towels daily and the mini bar items were free!! We found the room very spacious and had a beautiful view of the Pantheon piazza down below. The location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere and took a cab only to the Vatican. Cabs are very convenient as they are always parked on the street of the piazza. As they say location is everything and this hotel was worth our stay due to the excellent location.

Just some things to consider: the hotel does not have a lobby and it does not have an indoor bar/lounge. Also at night it can be loud with the crowd below in the piazza.

The hotel is placed in the centre of Rome adjacent the pantheon. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you..first class

The location is fabulous. Rooms were modern and very comfy beds. Nice that we were given an upgrade to a room with a view! Spa facilities looked nice but quite expensive. Ours was a last minute booking and excellent rate offered for prime location.

Breakfast was a bit bland. Not quite got it right with tea and coffee. No tea pot just a cup of hot water and tea bag. No toast unless had to ask specially. Four star facilities should give you a bit more choice.

Clean, modern and welcoming, perfect location and accommodating staff

First double room was far too small and we moved to a larger one after the first night. Although the breakfast room ran out of green tea after the first day (of four) we were there they failed to replace it by the time we left.

Great location (easy walking distance of most sights) Comfortable bed. Pillow menu. Good bathroom facilites with bidet and large shower. Helpful staff.

Room temperature was too warm and we had to ask hotel staff to sort it out. Would have preferred a thermostat in our room. Aircon units outside of our bedroom window (101) made a bit of a noise which had the room been cooler the window would have been closed.

This location can't be beat. Right on the Piazza della Rotunda with a view of the Pantheon. Clean and modern room. Great staff. Great price relative to many other places.

The shower drain didn't drain. The breakfast was not good. Even though it was included we skipped it after the first day. The coffee especially was bad, which in Italy makes no sense. Any way the negatives are few and we would definitely stay there again.

Typical European hotel, which means Americans think the rooms are too small. But there is no alternative for this problem in this price range.

Reception staff all most helpful.spotless rooms .daily change of bed linen.functional pleasing .modern design throughout.and of course the location,location location.

The location and the availability of restaurants around the hotel. The wifi connection in the rooms were great when it was working.

Entrance to the hotel was tucked in between 2 restaurants and you will be constantly touted by the waiters to eat at their restaurants each time you walk in/out of the hotel.

We were upgraded, because it was a second visit. Friendly staff noticed it was my wife's birthday, and greeted her as we went out, then found a big basket of fruit as a gift on our return. Very accommodating about checkout and leaving bags on last day. Perfect location.

Very nice hotel at a very beautiful place, middle of the city centre of Rome! Friendly and helpfull personel. All the sightseeing places on max. 30 minutes walk from the hotel! Go to this hotel for a citytrip to Rome, we've enjoyed it very much.
