ALL OF IT. GREAT STAFF .ANY REQUEST WAS SATISFIED POLITELY AND TIMELY.
We upgraded room and had a wonderfully large room (recently refurbed) with a great view over the pool/ocean. The Staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke fluent English. The location is in a quiet spot near the beach. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and you could eat it sat by the pool, the waiting staff were attentive. We had toured Italy and this was by far our favourite hotel...
We got a very warm welcome; the facilities were as advertised, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable with a great sea view. Breakfast was good (though the scrambled egg was always a touch over cooked!). Drinks were reasonably priced. It was great to have free beach facilities
The distance to the excellent beach was much more than advertised - a point of accuracy rather than a complaint. The dinner menu was over-priced, with not a lot of choice - we felt they could do much better with lower priced meals
Everything was excellent regarding the hotel. The staff was amazingly polite and helpful, offering to take our luggage from the taxi and bring them to the room, etc.
There is nothing negative regarding the hotel. The only disappointment was that San Remo is quite boring, especially if the weather is not nice.
Loved that it was quiet. Staff was very helpful, printing off train connection, assisting with directions, etc.
We find the beds in Europe too firm to our liking. Perhaps this just takes some getting used to.
Everything.....Fabrizio couldn't have been more helpful & the food lovely.
A very nice hotel with a lovely ambiance that made for a very relaxing few days. The pool was nice and the breakfasts were excellent. Would happily come again !
Restaurant seemed a bit expensive so we went to other local places to eat.
Location is good with a short walk to town. Once you find the hotel the on site parking is very good. Breakfast was reasonable although scrambled eggs resembled solid glue.
The address given by Booking.com is totally misleading if you are inputting it to a GPS. It puts you on top of a very steep hill at least 1 km from the hotel down a one way street that you can't drive into. It was a mess. The shower is over the bathtub with no screen or curtain. What a flood! The beds were joined together as asked for but the blankets were single and the blankets were stained.
Friendly Staff Helpful Reception Pool Not too large Good position between Beach and Restaurant/Shop area
No BBC Menu only in Italian and Russian!Staff seemed proud of large Russian clientele (day after we arrived Daily Telegraph headline was "Russia practically at war with Europe! )
All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and its surroundings were super, and getting free facilities at the nearby beach was a great bonus and wonderfully safe for our grandson. Breakfast was good, and drinks were reasonably priced
We thought the hotel missed a trick with its meals, which were expensive, compared to the many restaurants available in the town. The hotel's beach is more than 300 metres walk from the hotel - not a big deal, but for older people the steep hill from the hotel could be a problem.
Facilities were good, got a free upgrade on my room without a prompt, staff friendly, accommodating and helpful, breakfast was plentiful, pool and room was very clean. Kids loved the pool
The hotel had a real welcoming feel, bed extremely comfortable, great pool and food in restaurant delicious! We loved the area and the hotel.
Better wireless connections around hotel
friendly and helpfull staff no stress quiet & well located for any purpose (shopping beach jogging)
Very nice staff og nice that the hotel pays the beachexpenses.
A bit small room.
Location Nice staff
Extra charge for parking Low or no wifi at room
Wonderfully helpful staff in a well run, well located hotel. Will be telling friends and colleagues about this hotel.
location was good
Room overpriced, breakfast ordinary, dinner very, very poor value for money, door lock did not work, no BBC as claimed in their literature, view from room 103 poor, only updated weather printout when asked.
Nice and quiet hotel, clean, friendly hotel staff. Well decorated ( the room we had facing pool). Good breakfast,
Parking a little expensive at 11 euro per night, especially when the hotel is up a slight hill and no were else to park nearby for the elderly.
Very good service, nice and clean hotel, perfect location
The wonderful views!
Superb and helpful staff
Away from the town centre
The location, and the staff were the best aspect. This was a really nice cute hotel with a picturesque swimming pool beneath my balcony, surrounded by palm trees with a view of the sea through the trees. The room was very comfortable. I think the hotel upgraded my room as it was a quite time of year and they didn't have the rooms filled. I really liked this - its a good sign of the hotel and would make me return. I had a wonderful stay there - i intended staying 2 nights but I stayed 4. The pool water was cold but it was clean! And the pool beds were really nice and comfortable with spongy covers and sun umbrellas. The hotel is in a very good location also for walking into the town - and the bus to Ventimiglia goes from a 5 minute walk away (which was far better than going from the train station 2km away).
I really liked everything about the hotel. The only problems that I had were not really the hotels fault, there were constructions works in the building next door which meant the sound of a loud drill for most of each day (apart from the 2 hour lunch break) which made lying by the pool pretty painful. They were also cutting down trees down by the beach which meant we could hear a chainsaw for most of the day - so uncomfortable that I just went into town every day - but that was just lovely too!. I was looking forward to eating there as the restaurant is supposed to be very good (michelin rated) but I didn't like the veal on the one night that I ate there so I didn't eat there again.
Nice breakfast, tasty and fresh Perfect rooms Very friendly personal
THe friendly professional atmosphere. The staff all wore smart uniforms and were most courteous and ready to help to make our visit a memorable one. The owner was keen to know how we were enjoying our visit.
