We had a wonderful experience with the location, staff and services at the Hotel Paradiso! Everyone was consistently very helpful. The seaside view at night with the full moon rising was absolutely the best.
When we checked in we were given a bed with two twin beds joined together when I had specifically requested a single full or queen mattress. We don't like the beds having a gap during the night. The front desk changed rooms for us within 5 minutes. Great staff!
Good place, panorama was very good, you can see wonderful view but a little far away from city center. The room was very clean. They were changing pillows ets..Breakfast was very good like dishes.
Great view over the the Bay of Naples and Vesuv.
The staff could be a little more friendly and know a little bit more about tourist stuff in the area. A little far from the city center of Naples.
Location, helpful service
Electricity was only working partially in the room and the problem was not fixed.
The hotel was well placed for metro stations and the harbour.Views where wonderful, breakfast was very filling and the restaurant was lovely in the evening too. Our waiter Antonio was especially helpful. When asking for directions or help at reception nothing was too much trouble.I Would stay here again.
Only downfall for us was no sea view but not really too much problem and also unable to sit outside on roof top terrace for dinner both evenings as events happening. But these things very minor details really.
Sea view Good breakfast Terrace
the view, location, staff is really polite and helpful
So hard to find
Beautiful view, great room, great breakfast extended our days from 3 to 6 days.
Nothing not to like
Restaurant was fabulous, worth going out of your way to have dinner . View over the harbour was the best ever. Very reasonable cost wise for a night. Ideal as an airport hotel as very close. Taxi was about €27 and that was in a big family car.
Rooms no view but we didn't care as we were on our way to airport for early flight. We taxied to recommended restaurant from hotel reception , taxi was expensive but we didn't want to walk !!
While the price may put som travellerd off, this place deserves consideration. The view of Naples and the bay. Capri and the mountains as they change with the day is fantastic. There is a quality kitchen and a maitre'd who is a model that other establishments would do well to emulate. The liveried staff pring a sensr of luxury bordering on opulence. It was a genuine treat.
The facilities are not ada as the dining area is up a staircase. Entry also requires negotiating some stairs.
Restaurant meals very good.
1. Although there was supposed to be available (upon calling reception) free tea and coffee in your room, I attempted on four occasions to access this facility but to no avail. On the first three attempts I could get no response from reception and on the fourth attempt reception put me through to the Bar where nobody appeared to understand my request and the phone was put down on me! 2. Assistance with heavy suitcases/baggages into and out of the hotel would be useful as there are a number of steps to negotiate. Taxi drivers did not help. 3. Although we were told we could obtain a snack or drink from the restaurant after 3pm - no staff were available in the restaurant for this purpose. 4. The walls are very thin and you can easily hear the people in the room/s nextdoor.
The view from the hotel is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
When ever one uses a kettle, the fuse blows. Happens in all the rooms.
Quiet area !
Only rooms from upper floors have a view of the harbor !
Staff was rude except for one young woman . We felt barely tolerated in the restaurant. The room faced onto a blank wall. We didn't feel welcomed.
The spectacular views of the Bay of Naples.
The rudeness of the staff. The extreme narrowness of the single beds. The early morning awakenings due to poor soundproofing. The faulty wiring which caused the fuses to blow each time we used the kettle.
A little bit out of the city which is very good as the city itself is not very attractive, noisy and very dirty, garbage all over the place. Hotel itself clean and tidy staff hepful. Room OK no sea view for us.
Arrived on Sunday told no food available as chef was having a day off. Not very helpful. First hotel I have visited where no coffee or tea making facilities in the room
excellent view and good breakfast
facility is old
Lobby, restaurant and a few rooms have a view of the harbor. Most of room have a very poor view (a wall or a building). Cleanliness was, at least in my room, absent. The bathroom was in fact a wc and a shower. And to finish with, is you are not prepared to leave your car in the street (very dangerous) you have to pay 21 euro more
Stunning view of Naples port
Noise at night from the restaurant. Especially if your room is on level 4, the restaurant is right above your room and no sound proofing.
The view from the terrace was fantastic The staff were very good.
It was a bit further out from the town centre than expected. The walk down to the promenade & nearest metro was about 30mins, not the 5 as described.
VIEW, VIEW, VIEW - Probably the best in Naples ! The hotel thrives on its wonderful view from some rooms but particularly from the roof top terrace and restaurant. It is a classic view across the bay of Naples towards Vesuvius. The staff were all very friendly and obliging. Whilst the room was fairly small it was comfortable and contained all that we required for an enjoyable stay.
Used extensively by locals for Weddings, Christenings etc. The result being that it can become overcrowded and full of noisy children. This is not a problem in itself, but the property has no area exclusively for residents to retire too, and the restaurant can become very busy with residents taking second place. Despite this slight downside it would not stop me staying here again.
Reception Staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast staff were arrogant and very unhelpful.
The management team were responsive to our needs. The second room was comfortable, but still noisy. The view was very good. Going home for a good nights sleep.
The hotel was noisy. Even the staff were noisy when walking down the corridors at 6am. The lazy cook couldn't be bothered to replenish the eggs half way through breakfast until ordered to by the manager. The first room given was under the reception area, so you could hear everyone walking in and out of the hotel. You could her everyone above you taking a shower on the lower floors. Dinner in the dining room had to be sent back, not once, but twice, because the gave us, literally, raw pork. The hotel is quite far from the main area of Naples.
