superb location in pine forest adjacent to wonderful beach, cleanliness of rooms, the resort has potential but needs a radical review of its pricing policy
way overpriced, you have to make your own bed, no soap in shower, extra charge (5€ per person per day) for compulsory club membership, outrageous mandatory extra 50€ charge for end of stay room cleaning, change of sheets and towels at extra cost, pizzeria service could be improved as indeed the quality of the pizzas (some empty mussels and clams in the "frutti di mare" and virtually no mozzarella on an entire half of the "margherita")
Pool excellent for small children, restaurant, everything in one place, brand new houses, good air-conditioning, safe place for children
No wi-fi at all, worked only by the pool or at reception (very slow). Muddy beach Obligatory "Club card" (5 euro/day) don't know I've paid for... Shuttle bus very often full Very expensive "Store/Market"
Traffic free resort. Modern facilities
The atmosphere. The concept. The staff. The beach. The shuttle bus. The houses. This was a Nice place both for the children and grownup's. We had some problems with the aircondition but it was fixed in a quick and professional way:-) Thanks for a Nice week!
We missed a table inside and some more equipement for the kitchen.
1. 2 stars - not stated at booking.com page 2. Paid amount equals to 4 stars hotel in Terrenia (bad and breakfast) 3. Room ( house) is much less than you expect. 4. Limited choice of food. 5. Few people ouside reception speak understandable english. 6. Towels, room had awfull smells. 7. Noicy pool with really bad smelling water ( i understand that it's done to prevent deceases in water) but hotels i used to be before different chemicals were used for that. 8. Broken aircondition( 3 times a night i had to get up to turn it off. 9. TV is just like a furtinure on the wall cause you had to sit on the floor to see it.
New resort on the beach of Donoratico in splendid setting in pine tree forest. "Chalets" are simple but offer enough space and comfort one can expect for the price. Plenty of activities especially for kids and adolescents, we barely saw ours for most of the day, they were so busy ;-) Plenty of closeby sightseeing, wonderful restaurants, etc.
The tranquility and peacfulness of the resort. The swimming pool is one of the best we've known for temperature and the jacuzzi style shoots. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful, they'll do anything for you. The food in the Pizzeria and restaurant is very good, especially the pizza's. You need a hire car as it isn't walking distance to the nearest village but it's worth it for exploring the region as a whole, lot's to see and do. The beach and resort in general is beautiful and relaxing.
It's still early days for this resort, they have some organising to do in the restaurant and pool bar, they still seem a bit unorganised. A change of menu would be a good idea too. The food was great but if you're staying for more than a week it would be good to have more choice and not just fish dishes. The pool area is too small for the size of the resort but they have told me they are making it bigger next year. I suggested a seperate pool area for the children. We were 3 adults and there was no getting away from the children. We understand these resorts are mainly for familys but we loved it here and a seperate pool/jacuzzi area would just make the experience ideal for us adults with no children too. I would also like to see a quiet bar area near the restaurants where again you can sit away from the children whilst waiting for a table or as a pre dinner drink or to sit and have a drink after dinner.... the pool bar is very noisy and rightly so with all the entertainment provided for the familys with children. These however are little niggles and won't put us off going again especially once they've sorted the pools out. It is a great resort for the kids and familys.
