Paying for use of swimming pool 10 euro per day! paying for wifi 10 euro per day! paying for lots of extras
e10.00 charge to use the pool! No in room frig & no ice machine available. No coffee pot in room. 15 minute walk through narrow trashy sidewalk to get to metro, which was next to end of the line on metro from center of Rome.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in an ideal location for the metro, couple of stops and you are in central Rome. Nice pool to relax around when the temperature is at it's peak and travelling around Rome gets to hot. This was the reason why we booked the hotel.
Hotel is geared up for coach parties. Room walls are paper thin so noise travels from the side and from above. We happened to be their when their was a selfish group of church going Germans. Who were intent on making as much noise as possible and not caring about the other guests. We complained several times to the hotel management who seemed powerless. After the germans left other groups arrived who were almst as bad. Would not recommend to stay here if you are a couple or family needing a good nights sleep. Waiting to see if the hotel are going to get in touch with us. As I said earlier the staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Hotel needs to let people know that they are geared up for load coach parties.
Nice garden. Good location - 10 mins walking distance from metro station. Spacious rooms, very clean. Friendly staff. Excellent pasta in hotel restaurant.
Poor WiFi. Swimming pool was NOT free for hotel guests!!
Very welcoming and friendly staff
Additional charges for wi-fi and use of pool is very very poor
The location was very good for me because I am an author was on a writing vacation. The setting might not be as appealing to tourists who want to be closer to tourist sites.
The ads for the hotel indicated it had an exercise room and this was an important basis for my choosing this hotel. That information was out of date. The faucet in the kitchen did not work.
The helpful staff, the grounds and the relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel, although not in the centre of Rome, was a good hotel as travel via the Metro is very easy, ten minute walk to the Metro and only €1.50 for a one way ticket to anywhere. Courtyard restaurant and bar open late for drinks once you return from an evening out.
Having to pay for internet access and also having to pay for use of the swimming pool.
Spaciousness of the rooms
This is a quite pretentious hotel marked more by sound than substance! They have beautiful plates and knives and forks, but a far from impressive breakfast! The staff smile all the time, but you should beg for access to the Net (requires credentials with daily expiry dates), though unlimited free Internet is unequivocally included in their list of services. It is also very far from the city center and so boring at nights...We had an unenviable stay!
Lovely gardens and swimming pool. Ten minute walk to metro and bus.
The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. We loved the lovely atmosphere of the grounds. We stayed here in October with a Cosmos tour and came back.
I would have to say I didn't like the breakfast choices.
value, clean, free parking, location.
We had a small appartament with kitchen & a balcony 10 sq. meters large. Wow! The hotel is in a peripheric position close to a bus stop for s . Peter, in a beautiful park. Good value for money
Silent and big room in Rom. 400m from the metro line is ok.
The washroom is not that well.
very accommodating - they changed the sofa bed to two single beds on request
tiles in bathroom needed to have mildew removed
Good location for the price. Near restaurants and the subway line. Good value for money.
Poor restaurant/bar service.
Fairly cheap when compare to other similar places in the area. Nice friendly staff.
Rooms were a little run down. Strange smell in the room. Kitchen didn't work. No utensils. Location was ok but a solid walk to the train station. Staff told me there was no point in prebooking entry to the various attractions as it didn' save you anytime. This was absolutely wrong.
The hotel has big and comfortable rooms, it is quite and looking great. The staff is very kind and helpful. we had a great time there. very recommended! and just one more thing, if you do take a room in the hotel just make sure to know bus lines and stops in order to enjoy also the night life of Rome (means don't be dipended on Metro because it stops working kind of early, and taxis takes lots of money)
The hotel is not best located. it is not far from city center and attractions at all but it is a bit far from Metro station and bus stop (400m).
Clean room and surrounding. staff who spoke English and were helpful. The gardens are superb . Comfortable bed. Able to use stairs rather than the lift. Non smoking. Nice choice at breakfast.
No kettle or cutlery in room No folder with local information..eg places to eat and shop in walking distance . Wifi expensive $10 for 24 hours on one device
Location was very handy to centre of Rome.room was spacious, good size of balcony, pool was nice.
It was quite old fashioned.one of beds was a camp bed, quite uncomfortable. Hob didn't work couldn't make tea/coffee. Charged 45 euros per day to use pool. Breakfast was very poor , plastic glasses, diluted juice , machine lukewarm coffee , limited choice etc
I liked the reception area it was the coolest part of the hotel.Room was very hot.
I didn't like that the rooms had no comp tea or coffee or a kettle considering there was a kitchen. Most hotels cater for this.
