Hotel Paris    

The staff was first rate. Some issues I had upon arrival were handled promptly, and I extended my stay three days. I would especially like to commend young man in reception -Enrico I think- for his courteous help with questions and requests I had. The breakfast room and food were especially nice. The location is wonderful. The older style building and antique surroundings gave a wonderful feeling of being in Florence. I wish I could go back tomorrow for another ten days.

Had a lovely time at this hotel. I travelled with my mum for a 4 day stay in Florence. Location is great, especially if you have travelled by train (10 mins walk from station). 5 mins from the Duoma. All major attractions are walkable. The hotel used to be a palace so there are lots of interesting original features. The staff were lovely. I requested a lower floor room due to my mums age, which they accommodated and they carried our bags to the room. The room was spotless and changed daily and there was a lovely bottle of wine in the room on our arrival.

The only issue would be that if you have a room that faces the street it is quite noisy. This hotel is old and even with the windows and shutters closed the noise can be heard. If you are a light sleeper, it may be worth asking for a room away from the street. Don't let it put you off booking the hotel though x

The breakfast was poor with only one type of cheese and ham, not even close to the offer of Tuscany.

Bursting with character features and old opulence, the Paris is a lovely place to be. Friendly staff and a comparative local room rate made this hotel better than the average.

By the nature of it's age and character, the hotel's old wooden doors and room layout can sometimes bring a little unwanted noise, but by no means excessive!

The location is convenient to the city center & train station. This would be a good choice for first-time Florence vacationers. The breakfast room was charming and the food was sufficient. The staff made every attempt to be professional and helpful.

The room's carpet was old & dusty, while the bathroom was not up to 3-star standards.

This hotel merits one star. To tell the least the toilet was made the way Not to flush( jt was not just our room, but the lobby as well- strange way of saving .) Bad tast in decoration of the room and Dusty , old ugly furniture . Wouldn't recommend to anybody. Very disappointed .

Really helpful staff. Particularly reception (Massimo). Location spot on. Good deal on parking. Spectacular dining room, historic ambiance.

Cold bathroom.

The room was excellent, spacious and with good amenties and the location is great.

The food service was poor in quality and substance. The facility was nosy and uncomfortable. You have to pay €8 a 24 hour period to have internet service. Their computer facilities were lacking and they don't even provide a printer.

I really liked the old style of the hotel. Interior breakfast room is just gorgeous. The hotel is very conveniently located - near the railway station and the main attractions of the old city.

Excellent position, everything just some minutes walk away. Interesting old style designing of interiers.

No places for towels in bathroom, just drier isn't enough. Breckfast OK by quality but could be a bit wider in assortment.

It is 50 db noise at night (i measured it with my smartphone) it's impossible to sleep. Doe to drunk people at the street and ancient windows.

The hotel is very well located and close to the train station. The breakfast was very good.

The heating system of the bedroom was not working. We had to change to another room and it took some time until we change. At least the bedroom was better than the previous one :)

The closeness to the main sights was terrific and also walking distance from the train station and loads of restaurants close by. The hotel is full of heritage and old world furniture with loads of history. I was traveling with my Adult son and they gave us a twin room with another small bedroom attached for no extra cost. Also these two rooms were the only ones with beautiful balconies to walk out on to, such a bonus.

The bed was vey hard and I don't like having to pay extra for the Internet The bathroom was small but adequate. The street is quite busy creating noise making sleeping at night fairly broken. All this is worth it though because the hotel really gives you a feel for what it was like to live back in the 17th Century. Not hot choice available for breakfast.

I thought this hotel was fantastic value for money. Excellant location easy walk to centre of florence. Rooms were spacious and clean. Loved the paintings on the ceilings in breakfast area

The location was perfect, as well as the price. Breakfast was very good, and thye overall price was also very good.

I sent an email three times before arriving with no reply. The staff gave us wrong information about the train. We had no wifi (a signigicant inconvenience as we were there for business) signal in our room, and when I told the front desk, they basically said, I don't know how to help you.

Castle is close, palazzo is a better description. Breakfast under a frescoed ceiling, considerate staff, comfort and style. Quirky 14th cent. Rooms and all within walking distance of everywhere in the city.

They really should sort out their WiFi in the rooms
