Hotel ParisVia Dei Banchi 2, Tornabuoni, 50123 Florence (Show map) Very good, Score from 489 reviews“I really liked this hotel. It is in an ideal location we could see the roof of the Duomo from the hotel. The hotel is in an old Palazzo and the whole place does have a sense of elegance. I loved the quirkiness of it.”

Very grand style hotel, but very friendly. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The location is superb, about 5 minutes walk from the rail station and the same distance from the Duomo.

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights with my girlfriend. The hotel had many rooms if we compare another florence's hotel. This condition always effect my decision for choosing a hotel. Hotel building and interior places was old like the old ages. This looks put in to hotel like the old ages. This is why im choosing this hotel. I said if we would stay in florence, hotel should be a place like an old style. However, room 290 is the worst hotel room in the world i think. Room looks like in the horror movie's murder room. Room was very huge and empty according to the size of room. And our room's view is the space of all backside rooms in hotel. Room 290 is at the end of the corridor and a horrible stairs that only for this room. So my advice is like that. IF you have another option for staying don't waste your time and go there. If you don't, you may stay in this hotel but be careful it shouldn't 290 !

Almost everything is nice and good, and the reception staff very efficient and good manners. Breakfast is standard continental buffet, and good standard on that basis. Some of the room cleaning staff can improve a bit. Over our 6 days of stay, some days the bathroom were not really cleaned - hairs on the floor remained there for a couple of days. But then, probably a different staff member did a much better job.

Nothing The hotel was old and not clean. I have stayed at several one star hotels in Italy that were much nicer than this supposedly 3 star. I think what made the stay particularly bad was the people at the front desk were rude and unwilling to correct any of the problems we were having. I definitely wouldn't stay here again and I am a frequent traveler to Italy.

The hotel was marvelous. The rooms were antiques as if we were staying in other period of time. The hotel staff multilingual and very friendly. Breakfast was good. And the location of the hotel was perfect close to duomo and historical area as well as shopping area. The train station is 6-8 minutes walk if you're carrying to much luggage. In simple words it is perfect. Nothing except to improve breakfast buffet a little & add more varieties.

Staff were helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and charming, and the dining room had wonderful frescoes on the ceiling. The hotel felt grand, and was very conveniently situated, with some excellent cafes nearby. The breakfast buffet was good with a simple but tasty selection of pastries, yogurts etc. I didn't try the hot drinks from the machine but if you asked the pleasant waiter at the bar you could have excellent italian espresso or cappucino! In all, very good value. The heating/air con was a bit noisy overnight.

What I liked is that the personnel was very friendly, large rooms with big beds were even surprising because it's not tha common for Europe. The location was great due to being close both to railway and all th sights. Just a small thing: it got quite cold in the rooms in the morning

The easy access to the train, central location and price made it ideal for a holiday with my granddaughter. The history of Hotel Paris was very interesting, the room was well appointed and service was very friendly and helpful. On arrival the information about various sights and shopping that was available was provided without needing to ask.

Everything!!! The design of the hotel was quite old (not bad!) and so we had a feeling as if staying in a palace. The size of the room was awesome big. Cleanliness was good. Breakfast was good with different options. Breakfast area was also very nice and big. Staff, friendly and helpful. Location was good. Very close to station and main sites. Good value for money. Size of the bathroom too small compared to size of the room Room needs a bit of renovation, may be painting.

The room (and hotel) had more character than any room we have stayed in possibly in our lifetimes. Large room, high ceilings, frescoes on the ceiling (modern). All rooms are not the same and we may have gotten one of their better rooms but we were stoked. Great location. Very, very nice and comprehensive cold breakfast in a room with a 16th century frescoed ceiling. Took us back in time. Wow! Staff was helpful, but seemed to us to be more of a required courtesy than a genuine friendliness and helpfulness.

The staff is very nice and the views from the windows are amazing. I was in a room with scaffolding on the side of the building, and the staff quickly moved me after I asked if there was another possible room. Also, there's free parking. The rooms are very aesthetically pleasing, but the designers skimped on soundproofing and showers. I could hear my neighbor breathing--the walls are that thin! Also, the shower components are all plastic. My shower head wouldn't stay put, and I had to wedge it up with the soapdish. The hotel is in a remote part of Genoa, but close to a walking promenade by the sea. If you want to be in city center, choose another hotel!

It was possible to order a real cappuchino. Big minus for the room. Old, fitted carpet up to the middle of the walls. Did not seem very fresh. Draughty windows made us feel like sleeping in the middle of the street. Lousy breakfast with sweet lemonade called juice. And this in a country where they grow oranges. Cheese and ham of cheapest quality.

“Rooms, specially the ones on the third floor which are newly refurbished, very modern and comofortable are highly recommended. The price was good and the service was great. Specially friendly was the attention of Guido at the front desk. He recommended us places to go, restaurants to visit in the area, etc. Buffet breakfast was included, it was ok but I have no complaints considering that you are paying a very good price for the accommodation!” Valeria, Cambridge |
