Everything was perfect
Location was great...very central
Coffee served at Breakfast was not very good.
You can't ask for a better location. 10 min walk from the railway station and 5 mins from the Duomo. All other places such as the Uffizi and the Accademia are also walking distance. Plenty of places to eat nearby
I like that that it is not far from the main train station of Firenze and very close to the restaurant in front of Santa Maria Novella. The restaurant serves one of the best pasta and steak..
Our room was a bit old and not that comfy. The elevator is not parallel to our rooms as we still need to take the staircase down. Advise to other travellers - Do not take the room 102
excellent location and atmospheric hotel. Very clean with crisp cotton sheets and white towels. Very good breakfast.
The single room was quite dark.
Staff were friendly, solicitous and very helpful. Good breakfasts with excellent coffee. We stayed there twice in October and November, and both experiences were excellent.
Bathrooms were only slightly small, and overall this would be the only, and very modest, negative.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a lovely doube room with a passage and two double windows .The location was excellent between the train station and the Dumo. I was happy with everything and would stay at Hotel Paris again.
The big breakfast hall with frescos on the ceiling..stained glass and wide corridors..lovely breakfast..fresh fruit, yoghurt and wonderful coffee..very friendly, helpful staff, and all the sights of Florence literally on the doorstep.
My daughter couldn't see out of her window, and was bitten by mosquitos
Great location, beautiful frescoes & other decorations, helpful, courteous staff, very nice breakfast (Pleased with the variety of fruit to make a fresh salad!)
My 89 year old mother in law's room had steps to the bathroom (not a good thing in the middle of the night). There were at least a small flight of stairs to get to any room (we were prepared for this after reading reviews)The beds were very hard (lowest priced room).
The hotel is in an old palace building which is very nice, and the location is perfect for exploring on foot.
The hotel is very dated, the rooms are quite run down. Tiny tiny shower, very uncomfortable bed and pillows, and quite a lot of noise from the street below.
I liked the decor of the hotel- very old like the city. the location was perfect. breakfast was very good.
The beds were twin beds pushed together and super uncomfortable. they seemed as old as the hotel.
the hotel has been built reshaping an ancient high standing Tuscany family house; paintings everywhere, windows like churches ones. Is 10 minutes from bullet train station, from my window, the City main dome was close!
some doors and facilities ....still belong to that ancient time!
the location. ok staff. breakfast room is cool.
the room is not welcoming at all, smelles like mold and dust. the lift is super slow, more like "hotel california" as the song described it...
I booked online with the incorrect dates and the hotel emailed me to confirm as the booking was for that same day but made very late. They very kindly moved the booking by a day. I was impressed by the way in which my booking was handled. Additionally, we decided to extend our stay by a day, at first we were told that they were fully booked but when we enquired again whilst checking they had a cancellation and could accommodate us for another night. Our bags were taken up to the room whilst we went about touring the city. Very helpful front desk always willing to help. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is very charming in an olde world sort of way. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good value for money.
Wifi connection was not too great in our room so we sat in the lounge on the first floor to connect. Other than that nothing else bad to say about this hotel
Very comfortable hotel.Loved the history and architecture.very well located. We are doing a lot of travelling and this was the only hotel to offer us a complimentary bottle of wine.Very nice Thankyou.
Not having WiFi in rooms
Hotel was close to all the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good and comfortable, although the ensuite was a bit small for larger persons. We would return to Hotel Paris.
Staff recommended restaurants that were part of the Hotel Paris ‘group’, which were not good quality food. Our room was next to the street and at times very noisy but it was the weekend. Wifi although free you had to keep logging in everytime you returned to Hotel.
The room I had -104 was not the room I thought I'd booked as it appeared more like the basic room and wasn't even big enough for me to open my case in any space, the bathroom has been renovated badly with a pipe sticking out from the wall and poor paint job. Sure there are better places in Florence.
Extremely old europeon style hotel in a 17th-century Florentine building. Perfect location, just 5min to the Cathedral. Everything is in walking distance. Rooms are incredible large. Breakfast is perfect and the dinning room itself is an art, you can enjoy the mural paintings there.
No wifi available in room. Need staff's help to operate the air-con.
Location Space in the room
Cleanliness Building maintenance Breakfast
Beautiful old building, with quirky corridors leading to lovely rooms furnished with anolde world look, big breakfast in a gorgeous sunny room with fresco or on a terrace,
Sometimes the pigeons wanted to eat my breakfast when I was on the terrace.
Excellent location, service and staff.
great location, but needs modernisation
Not accessible by car because of traffic limitations. Breakfast room too small for the crowd.
In general terms the Hotel offers a good service. Best of all is the building, very beautiful, with history. The location is very good, very close to everything. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Wifi service is poor at no cost, the signal is very weak on the 3rd floor.
The hotel was very central to everything. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was a beautiful old florentine building down a quiet side street and easy enough to get back to for a rest in the afternoon after all the sight-seeing.
There was nothing not to like. We were on the very top floor, but then the room was not expensive. One gets what one pays for.
Location,,, staffs was very friendly, kind and helpful while I was travelling in Firenze.
Parking Charge.... Breakfast, poor Wifi service
