Location (quite), beautifully decorated rooms, great spa and swimming pool
terrible pillows (hard, very uncomfortable) and overpriced restaurant
The spa was top notch. The restaurant food was superb. Our room was wonderful.
The stupid clouds that covered the mountains. The restaurant was pricey but well worth it. Don't be put off, it doesn't open until 7:30 but is worth the wait, the food is amazing. It's a long trip to town, so just eat in, you won't be sorry.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly towards us and our dog - he got his own welcome pack. Food in the restaurant was of a very high standard. Views from our balcony were amazing.
Even though we were upgraded to a suite the furnishings were rather tired and shabby.
Typical mountain hotel...during a tasty and abundant breakfast in the morning, you can enjoy a very nice landscape...The room was big, mantained neat and clean...the pool it's nice... 3km from the center but easy to catch up
loaction room staff breakfest pool
its was cold at night, and there no hit option
Non-resolution of an issue, which was promised to be sorted. Also, lack of organisation at Reception. Some of them need training
We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and always at hand. The breakfast really was superb. Great location and generally quiet and relaxing. Although we felt the pool and surrounding area could have been a bit warmer, we could not fault the the spa and facilities at all. They were very good and we certainly felt relaxed and rejuvenated at the end of the day. We had booked a double room for 3 nights followed by a comfort suite with view for 3 nights. We were upgraded straight into a comfort suite on arrival but being on the ground floor and over the underground garage the room was too cold (with no way to change the temperature), a bit cramped, and the view was of a grass bank and building site (part of the new Faloria complex). As quickly as we mentioned this we were moved to another room and this one was very much better indeed. Warmer, more spaceous and comfortable, and good views into the mountains. From then on we felt very much at home and really enjoyed our stay.We certainly would go back and probably will.
Not a a big issue but the exit from the drive onto the main road is on a blind bend and it was a bit hair-raising when cars came speeding around the corner as you pulled out. We only noticed after 3 days that there are mirrors to help you on the opposite side.
Helpful staff Views Cleanliness of the room & hotel Facilities pool, sauna, Turkish bath, massages Breakfast Shuttle into town and back
Very nice swimming pool and wellness with sauna and turkish bath, the pool is large enough for swimming, pleasant water temperature. Nice suite with two rooms and two bathroom, comfortable for a family with two sons. Cortina is about 3 km from here, very good route for walking or cycling to get there.
High price for the peak summer dates when Italians have their holidays.
We were very impressed by the staff at the hotel who genuinely seemed to care that we were comfortable and well-fed. At breakfast and dinner nothing was too much trouble and they also gave good local advice on food, wine and things to do locally (as it was quite wet during our stay, keeping us off the hills). During the rest of the time we found the hotel quiet and relaxed (July), with a homely feel. Would love to stay here again during the ski season :)
Good location if you come by car, great food in the restaurant, OK spa facilities
Espresso machine in room!!!
All hotel facility was excellent Room was big for family of five beautiful view from room
large swimming pool with spa for the kids restaurant
Friendly and very helpful staff, particularly in the restaurant and bar.
Cleaning staff failed to re supply shampoo and coffee. Minor but it would improve their rating
1. Pool and health facilities 2. Welcoming, friendly staff
1. Jaded, slightly tired hotel 2. Poor breakfasts in comparison to similarly priced hotels
We loved the pool and spa area and wished we could have stayed another day or two. The suite of rooms was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The buffet breakfast was excellent. We also liked the free parking in their underground garage.
That we couldn't stay another night or two and take advantage of the pool & spa more.
The room was very spacious The reception staff were excellent and gave good information they treated us as special and wanted to help with our enquires the breakfast was excellent. we enjoyed our stay the views were amazing
Lovely suite with stunning mountain views. The Spa facilities were excellent. The breakfast was superb. The bed was one of the best beds I have ever slept in. We were only booked in for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer.
food very good
not easy to find
fantastic scenery good spa good food for adults
cold hotel room, no heating not even electric one for our kids (they tried with two electric ones but they were not working). poor menu for the kids in the restaurant
nice hotel, good breakfest the room was nice and clean
Barry & Scott Sydney Australia, loved the location, were Sarah upgraded us to a suite, with two balconies with amazing view of some of the Dolomites,we had our evening meal there and it was nery enjoyable, the breakfast had a huge selection we enjoyed our night there ,next will stay longer, thanks
Lovely alpine hotel, we enjoyed our stay very much. Very friendly and helpful staff, decent rooms (although a bit dark as others have mentioned), just ok beds, good breakfast, very nice spa with a beautiful warm pool and saunas. Restaurant was very expensive, but it was also the best food we had on our 12 day Italy tour.
Bad sound isolation between rooms although that didn't really bother us. They charged us twice for the same 150 eur meal, which could easily have gone unnoticed. Wasn't satisfied with their casual attitude towards their mistake. 15 eur/night for parking this far from town is outrageous, but we were off season and could park outside for free. Not close to ski lifts but that can't be a surprise to anyone and they even have a shuttle service (which we didn't use).
Horrified that our MasterCard was charged on the 17th February when we stayed at the resort on the 1-3 march. Can they cancel and recharge?
