Park Hotel Villa Potenziani  

A very good hotel, nothing negative to say about ! At this time of the year hardly any other guests, it is like having a castle for your own ;-) Views on the park and surrounding mountains are beautiful. The wooden furniture and wooding carvings and sculptures, eg the ceiling and walls in the dinner room are unique. Everything held in perfect state! Rooms are spacious and beds are large !

Guests should realize that the hotel is located in a beautiful park in the hills above the city which means a 15 min walk or 5 min car drive down to the old city center.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has unusal fixers and fittings well worth a look. I liked the size of the rooms and bathroom. The breakfast was great and well catered for.

I didn't like that on your website it advertised restaurant and swimming pool and bar and none was available when we arrived. We took it on the chin and asked for directions to a supermarket so we may bye some wine and nibbles as we where tired and did not want to make the journey back into town later to try and find a restaurant. When we first arrived we asked for a drink and was directed to our mini bar as the bar was not available. Upon return with our supplies I politely asked for a couple of wine glasses and was told unless I bought their restaurant wine (which when enquired earlier was told both restaurant and bar was not open) I couldn't have the glasses. A very discourteous reception staff stood there ground about the glasses so we started drinking out of plastic cups. Later they rang their manager who directed them to give us the wine and glasses. A very small request which under the circumstances turned into a major deal by the only two staff on residence. A nice hotel to stay but the pool was green and we seemed to be the only guests so nothing was available to us even though they happily took our booking.

Personal is really friendly and helpfull. Room is spacious. The restaurant, tought a little bit expensive for the area, is really excellent with top service. Generous breakfeast as well with fresh fruit salad. The breakfeast was with the nice weather on the top of the building, with great view on mountains and city.

We loved the pool but not the fact that you had to wear a bathing cap.

A kettle in the room for making tea would have been nice. Breakfast wasn't until after 7am but as we had to leave earlier we did not get to try it.

Set in the middle of a park on top of a hill, Villa Potenziani has been magnificently restored. Rooms are large and very well appointed with large bath rooms. The staff is well trained and thoroughly professional. Breakfast is large, varied, and offers fresh fruit. If you choose to have dinner at the Villa as we did, you will find the service impeccable and the food excellent. We did not use the pool, but it looked inviting. Free wifi is available in the room and there is plenty of parking. A great value.

The Villa is a couple of km from town. Though the walk into town can be pleasant, coming back up the hill late at night is not comfortable.

Questo hotel è ancora più bello di quanto avessi immaginato. Elegante e romantico, personale estremamente accogliente e disponibile, camera ampia e, cosa rara wi fi incluso nella tariffa. La proprietà è molto grande con uno splendido parco che circonda la villa ed un ampio parcheggio privato.

La posizione, il parco e la struttura che, ancorchè non sia nata come hotel, è veramente imponente e di classe. Mia moglie ed io siamo andati in ottobre ma credo che con il parco fiorito e con un periodo di ferie, anche di due o tre giorni, e non di una sola notte il tutto sia veramente splendido. In caso di nuova visita a Rieti certamente cercherò di soggiornare ancora a Villa Potenziani e lo proporrò ad amici interessati.

Non ho fatto caso se fosse esposto o meno quindi potrei sbagliare nel mio giudizio. Poichè il ristorante è imponente e di gran classe può spaventare il viaggiatore credo quindi che sarebbe bene che l'hotel esponesse in luogo visibile sia il menù del giorno sia I prezzi praticati.

Accès à la ville un peu difficile

Molto suggestivo e ben tenuto. Il parco è meraviglioso con la presenza di animali selvatici inaspettati : ho incontrato un istrice di sera rientrando.

L'ingresso dalla strada poco agevole e di scarsa segnalazione.

Villa antica ristrutturata nel pieno rispetto delle origini. Confort di alto livello.
