This luxury hotel sets a high standard. The room was spacious; bathroom lovely with a TUB! Nicely appointed. Computing best we found in our trip. Surprised to find so lovely a hotel within one block of the main train and bus stations. The staff: desk, restaurant, bar and breakfast room were all superbly trained, pleasant and responsive. We chose this hotel for a special stay....only sorry they could not accommodate us for both nights we stayed in Bolzano! There was some construction work being done on our floor and there was a pervasive odor of sewage each time we exited the elevator so we assume that there was plumbing work in progress. This was only in the hallway nearest the elevator and did not impact our room.

A good base for visiting the Alto Adige/Trentino area. Comfortable hotel with good facilities and pleasant staff. Restaurant excellent but might be expensive for some visitors. However due to the town centre situation there are many alternative eating places around.

The hotel is in an ideal location close to the heart of Bolzano. In the immediate vicinity is the main Piazza and the Duomo. The car park is just across the road from the hotel and there is a e14 charge for each 24 hour period. We were quickly checked in and given a room on the third floor at the front of the hotel. To my surprise the room was in fact like a junior suite with a lobby area, a door to the bathroom on the right and another door to the room itself ahead. The room was very spacious with a high ceiling and had only just been refurbished to a very high standard. There was a recess in the room with another window and two comfortable chairs with a standard lamp for reading. Considering we were right in the heart of the busy town, it was exceptionally quiet in the room, due to double glazed window panes set in a pair of windows with a large gap inbetween. This configuration not only provided good insulation from the cold, but noise as well. Also having an additional door into the room itself, would reduce any potential noise from the corridor. However it was very quiet and peaceful in the hotel considering how busy it was. The bathroom was refurbished as well with a new bath and other fittings. The marble walled bathroon itself was a feature, plus the towels and robes were of a high quality. Just to add, the mini bar in the room was well stocked and the prices were reasonable. There are a number of room configurations which I viewed in the lobby, so it might be worth checking what might be reserved for you. However all the rooms appeared to be very spacious. In the restaurant the tables were laid with brilliant white table clothes and serviettes. The breakfast was buffet style and simply wonderful. There was a fresh orange juicing machine and the hotel made their own delicious Birchermuesli. The display of fresh fruit, cereals and breakfast breads was superb. The restaurant staff were attentive and efficient. In conclusion this is a fine hotel. The dinner menu was pricey and better value could be found in the many restuarants close by.

It's a very nice hotel, excellent breakfast. The restaurant charged far too much for a pasta with truffle and a glass of wine (€60).

The hotel was perfectly situated for a city visit. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. A Grand experience. The wireless internet is not for free. This should be a standard service at premier hotels.

Wonderful hotel. Our room was spacious and overlooked the hotel park. The park itself was lovely, as a lunch/diner venue, for drinks or just for hanging out with a book. Breakfast was very generous, lots of variety. All members of staff were friendly and helpful, in short a fantastic hotel.Would certainly stay here again on a return visit to Bolzano.

Breakfast very nice Beautiful park at the back Beautiful bar/lounge Beautiful elevator (not important, but I still liked it Reception clerks ok, rather nice Over priced for comfort/service No help to download car, take luggage in the room ; same at check out Twin beds, no double beds, even in comfort rooms. Parking/Internet not included, inspite of high price ac did not work, tried to negotiate (took a looong time) free Internet for one day in compensation, but was offered 1hour only, or a fan. Not possible to get both... Very classy for a 4 star hotel... :-(

The serenity of the hotel, the staff, the guests, the building, though it is in the centre of Bolzano. A wonderful garden and pool. The building is charmingly classic, the bar has an oldfashioned luxury. The breakfast is a feast. Airco in the room; very clean. We had a really relaxing stay.

The hotel is a 100 years old, so you feel the history both in your room as well as on the premises. It's a very charming place. Loved the white window shutters! Very central, too. Beautiful parc, both at day as well as at night time :) Prosecco and perfect Cafe Latte for breakfast completed our stay!

The beautiful historical setting of the city and the calm oasis of the hotel garden. I didn't like the first impression of the reception team. Had to get their attention and they where very cold, no smiles, lack of info. But the rest of the hotel staff where great! Especially Giuseppe the waiter.

I couldn't wait to return to the Parkhotel Laurin. I even had the same fifth floor room as before, which was large, dormered, had a comfortable reading chair, a desk, a built in place to put your luggage, lots of closet space, plus a lovely green view of the hillside and the Dolomites between the mountains in the distant background. The bathroom was all marble, with a deep bathtub and all amenities. The huge dining room was elegant, the service excellent, and the breakfast selections were amazing - everything you might think of, and the best breads ever. The location is superb - five minutes to city center, two minutes to the train station.
