Has lots of potential - nice building. Good location for Venice - 25 min by train More attention needed to cleaning - less pomp more care would be good

We enjoyed the ambiance and location. It is situated on the outskirts of a nice small town about 20 minutes from Venice. We enjoyed exploring this town on our walk to the train station. Taking the train to Venice was easy and for us car travelers a nice change of pace. Good value. I would come back. My two boys did not appreciate the loud church bells at 8am on a saturday morning. I found it rather interesting and fitting for a stay in a little town in Italy.

This hotel was beautiful, the location made it easy to get to and from Venise by train 15 min and 2.15 Euros each way. Mogliano is a quiet little town of about 40,000 hab. & there is a lot less hussle than Venise which has millions of visitors per day. For the price/location it's the best bargain for your buck available. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, location quaint, staff helpful, internet connection free, room/bathroom very clean, antiques and garden beautiful. I really liked it and would recommend it to my friends. It's a sound choice, rather then paying 300 euros per night to stay in a very small room in Venise or bedding in Mestre which is very industrial and not quaint at all. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the bed, it was a twin.

The hotel is perfectly located for visiting Venice: 5 minutes walk form the train station and only a few Euros and 15 mins to get right into the heart of the city. It is also a great way to avoid the frankly weep-inducing cost of hotels in central Venice and a pleasant way of escaping the hustle and bustle when you've had enough. Mogliano Veneto is a lovely little town in which to relax in the evenings. The main charm of the hotel is its unique furniture and design. Standardised 'McHotel' it isn't.. The staff are all also generally very helpful. The breakfast is disappointingly basic - two ceareals, toast, some sickly pastries, some fruit and yoghurts. That's it. Oh, and machine-coffee and machine-orange juice. For min. EUR 100 per night? Not great. The hotel also doesn't offer evening meals and has stern rules about not bringing/ordering food in like pizzas, even though we saw the night staff do it! And ok, the furniture and decor is pretty unusual, but it is also getting rather tired and run down. Is it a 4*? Yes, but just barely.

Quiet place to stay (exept the church bells nearby the window). Nice building. You need only 10 minutes walk to the station and 20 min by train to get to Venice Lot of dust in the corners on the floor

We chose this hotel rather than staying in Venice itself and we are so glad we did. After a day in bustling Venice coming 'home' to this hotel was a delight. It is only a 5 min walk to the train station and then a 20 min trip into the Venice train terminal. Very easy. The Italian elegance throughout the entire hotel is just gorgeous - not something you see everyday! The breakfast selection was great and the bathroom just amazing. We chose to always eat back near the hotel as it was better value than in Venice and food superb. Would definitely stay here again.

Lokalizacja - blisko stacji kolejki dojazdowej do Wenecji. Trzeba zamykać okna I okiennice I spać w totalnej ciemności.

“We stayed at the Park Hotel Villa Marcello Giustinian due to a combination of its proximity to Venice and excellent value. We weren't disappointed. Breakfast was good, free wifi was available, and the hotel staff was very helpful, but most of all, the price was right. I would not hesitate to stay there again.” Ronald, Hochspeyer |
