One of the Grand Hotels on Florence. Yes, it was a Palace and it still shows, beautiful garden, nice swimming pool and a lovely Foyer and Library and Terrace room and area. The breakfast is good and you even get an excellent Cappucino if you ask for it. A place to reflect, imagine the grandness of the medicis and prepare for the art and culture visit downtown Florence. Parking costs 10 Euros, which is ok and the internet usage is free

Close to city, but not right in it. Hotel feels like you are a hundred miles from any cities at all, but only a short bus or drive to Florence...fantastic. Great little bar/restaurant within a short walk. Charge for parking

Spacious room typical of a palace, balcony with a very relaxing view. Positioned very close to down town, quiet and surrounded by the Tuscany countryside style landscape. Immaculate swimming pool. Excellent !!! During our stay we could not fault anything. Highly recommended.

- Super fresh and green surrounding. The closet kind of 'back to nature' theme you could get in Florence. - The hotel is very cozy, neat design with antique decoration, large living room, dining room, breakfast terrace and small private pool and garden. - Staffs are super hospitalized, informative and speak good English. - There is a bus direct to town. (18 minutes to central station SMN). Bus stop is right in front of the hotel. However, you can also spend 20 min walk downhill to town, pleasant to try. Or else, taxi is easy to grap. It takes 5 min and cost around 11-12 euro. -Breakfast is good quality, though there are not much choice. Feel free to ask for cappuccino as they are made on request. - Limited parking and the hotel is charged 10 euro/day even it is in their own property - NO complimentary drinking water, coffee or tea in the room (though they don't overcharge for drinking water, with a 200euro/N I would expect more facilities) - NO air-condition until mid of May (the hotel advertised its air-conditioning facilities), and there is no option to turn it on as it is centralized. We had to open the window but there were full of pollen during this time. If you have problem with allergy, that might not be an option. - Though I really like surrounding and location, it might not be the best option for some who want to go back and force during the day for afternoon rest, as commuting takes around 30 min per route (incl waiting time)

Gardens and the villa. Quite but convenient location. Reception staff were excellent. The lounge and the restaurant were very nice. Beds very comfy. Our maid forgot to shut the the door and the room was left open all day. Room was used by smokers before us and consequently the room was very smelly for us non smokers. Perhaps the choice for smokers/non smokers should be offered.

The hotel was above Florence in a lovely area and a pleasant 20 minute walk to town. It was atmospheric with a grand entrance hall with stone stairs and a sitting room with log fire. The food was reasonably priced and delicious.

The staff at the hotel were beyond fantastic, they were simply marvelous. The hotel is in a perfect position as a villa that seems to be in the countryside, but is a short walk down to the city. As well, the bus leaves from outside the door. Parking was easy on site, and the breakfast was generous and fresh. The room was so clean, neat and well designed. Would definitely stay here agin next time we are in Florence.

Very charming hotel housed in a villa located in a park-like area close to the center of Florence. The ponte Vecchio is a nice 15-20 minute walk and in front of the hotel you also find a bus-stop that will take you directly into town. We particularly liked the fact that although close to Florence, the Hotel area is calm and filled will many beautiful old houses and villas with lush gardens. Add to this the good service and very helpful and friendly staff and we may say that we truly enjoyed our stay in this Hotel. The room initially appointed to us had, to our opinion, a very unpleasant smell and the beds were way harder then our liking. Fortunately the staff solved these potential discomforts efficiently by appointing us another room and by applying a softer top-mattress to our bed.

I loved the location of the Hotel! It was just enough out of the City, without being to far away from the Center of Florence. You could get a taste of what staying in a Villa in Italy is all about!!! I thought there would be less traffic in front of the Hotel. It seemed to be located on a very busy street!!

Great park setting, nice historic building, comfortable rooms, helpful and enthusiastic staff - all translate into an extremely pleasant trip to Florence. The view of the historic Florence is a welcome addition, especially if you don't mind a 20 minutes uphill walk after a day in town. We didn't but for those who do there is always a bus.

This hotel is perfectly located in Florence, it is away from all the hustle and bustle so you can really relax yet the city is just a short walk away! Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was spotless and our little balcony was the icing on the cake! Our complimentary breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice from pastries to various meats and cheese! There was steady supply of fresh coffee too which is an essential part of the Italian experience! Th staff were polite but not overly friendly. Perhaps it was a language barrier but we felt they were a little cold.

We had a very nice stay, spent in Park Palace Hotel 5 nights. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful and we found the hotel to be a very pleasant green oasis a bit out of busy Florence center. Connection with the city center is very good, it is even reachable by beautiful walk of around 20min through authentic Toscan streets or by bus.

We adored this hotel - it is beautiful and elegant without being flashy. It has a perfect balance of traditional Florencian palazzi with subtle contemporary renovation. i.e. a contemporary fire surround with a very old fashioned original fireplace set within. The room we had was enormous and beautifully furnished. The setting is perfect with a view of the immediate and further away hills surrounding Florence. Tchaicovsky lived next door for a period! Above all of this, the staff are sublime. Beyond friendly and welcoming, they are at once at ease, relaxed and welcoming while remaining on top of their game with slick service. Nothing was an effort and everything was doable. It felt more like staying with family you were meeting for the first time. We were there for my partner's 50th birthday and they made it vey special without a glamorous fuss but just perfectly pitching congratulations and complimentary drinks - no fuss, no nonsense. Sublime! Bellisimmo, arrivederci. Jon Gilmartin

It is so beautiful a palace that I feel it is unique. The elegant decoration is really a plus. The bread is good and fresh. I like the dining place. Shower room is spacious. Good for a short stay. The staff are not friendly, they didnt offer any fresh coffee as other hotels and I thought this service is not included, not until the last day did i realize that you need to stop the "busy" waitress to ask for espresso. It is not standard four star service.

We appreciate very much the hotel staff not only for their professional attitude but also their carefulness. After leaving the hotel, we realized that we left our iphone in the room. We called the hotel and in less than 3 minutes, the hotel staff helped us to find the iphone. Apart from it, the hotel creates warm atmosphere so that we felt at home. The nostalgic villa hotel with very clean and modern bathroom, locating in a quiet district and not far away from downtown is a very convenient choice for travelers with car.
