The location of the hotel is very good, not far away from the center by car or bus. The staff is very kind.
It ia a old, but nice restored Villa ( in German "herrschaftlicher Landsitz", nice Personal and good Breakfast-buffet. To go to Old City takes 15 min, but quiet area. I would come again
-- All ok
The hotel is an old large residential property guising as an upmarket hotel, which it is not. However the location is very pleasant and there is a good bus service into the city. Parking available, but expensive.
I originally booked two nights, then increased to five, but decided to not stay the last night. Hotel tried to charge a high cancellation fee for the fifth night. Disgraceful treatment. The breakfast was average to say the least. Overall value for money not the best by a long means. Staff were OK except for the fuss re leaving early.
Breakfast was ok.
The staff all seemed rude and irritated. When I spoke to the lady at reception (Italian speaking) she made a rude comment about South African english accents and spoke in Italian to another staff member. Will not recommend this hotel at all.
Gorgeous hotel -lovely lounge and pool. Staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent. Bus stop right outside gates.
We liked the style and location of the hotel.
We had no negatives about our stay
We loved the location and overall feel of hotel. The outside yards were great for our children and the morning breakfast and terrace a perfect way to start the day.
Bed was uncomfortable.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The location is within walking distance of Florence in a quiet, beautiful residential area. The room was very comfortable and had a great view of Florence.
GREAT ROOM, RATE, FRIENDLY STAFF,
NO BAR, NO LUNCH, VERY SMALL TV
The setting was perfect and convenient. Staff quite wonderful
Sometimes guests very noisy late at night some disturbing sleep
Loved our room (101) with it spacious bedroom, pretty sitting room and Art Deco bathroom. Enjoyed sitting on the patio which had sunshine all day overlooking the pool. Loved the location high above Florence, but with easy walk down and short bus ride back! Such a peaceful retreat after a hot day in the city! Easy access from Pisa airport by car with parking available - a real bonus.
Breakfast could be better; perhaps fruit salad, wider choice of cereal and hot dishes, as more usual in this standard of hotel. Reception staff were good, Uliana especially who was incredibly helpful, but there were no other staff on hand.
nice garden setting with a refreshing pool excellent well appointed room of a good size
only one nearby restaurant, making dinner at night a bit if a track
ROOMS, STAFF, BATHS
NO DINNING OR LUNCH
The hotel was friendly and clean, best breakfast ever. It is tucked in the hills of Florence. The rooms were large and modern. There is a hop-on-hop-off tour bus that picks up in front of the hotel. Also bus12 and 13 go there too. Passes from the hop on hop off are good for both. Not too bad of a walk down the hill. We enjoyed it.
Registration was tucked away behind the stairs a little hard to find. No good restaurants near by.
Small hotel with friendly staff. Easy access to and from Florence by bus. Light lunches and tea/coffee/snacks available during the day. Excellent, but expensive, restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. No safe in the room, but available in reception. TV too small with very limited channels. No evening food available in hotel.
Loved the location - was advised by previous research that it is out of town so was not disappointed. Close enough to walk and the bus stop is at the end of the drive if you don't want to walk. Room had a beautiful view!! Staff were exceptionally helpful and always willing to assist.
Lovely, picturesque, grand old hotel with a beautiful pool, surrounding gardens and covered area to sit around and eat and relax.
Old World Ambience with up to date room and bath. Friendly experienced Staff On the outskirts, but only 20 minute walk to town. Excellent breakfast - and an excellent restaurant for dinner nearby.
We wouldn't change anything!!!
Hotel Park Palace Florence is situated in a posh residential area of Florence but the bus stop is just outside the hotel and the bus ride to city Centre and train station is just 20 mins.If you want to relax in a calm and serene atmosphere after your city exploration during the day, Park Palace can be a perfect choice. A bit over priced for a hotel outside the city center but still worth taking a chance.
The hotel was a bit over priced.
beautiful old hotel; good breakfast
location somewhat inconvenient
Gorgeous to the maximum extent possible. Great interest in the comfort of guests We spent unforgettable days in this hotel many thanks to the reception staff especially (uliana ) and ( laura and sami ) And all the restaurant staff who provide the nice breakfast Certainly, if I returned to Florence again, I would choose this hotel again And I would advise all of my colleagues for this hotel
Beautiful buildings and setting. Swimming pool. Parking on site. Close to Florence but a quiet haven.
This was really a very pleasant stay in a familiar, but elegant atmosphere. The Hotel's situation in a beautiful park with a nice pool on the hills surrounding Florence guarantees for a most relaxing stay. The beautiful rooms have no numbers, but names, each with a different decoration make you feel like guests in the 19th century!.The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool was just fantastic.
Location was great. Staff were very helpful and the hotel building had lots of character
Breakfast was poor, no room service facility. Internet and cooms were intermittant - not a 4 star hotel
Far from the crowds yet a short walk or bus ride to the center. Lovely shady garden to relax in and sunbathe and swim. Great balcony as well. A plentiful breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Not a criticism of the hotel; just remember the mosquito repellent
