Park Palace Hotel    

Very nice environment. Up in the hill, peaceful n quiet. Breakfast in garden with pool view and swing, excellent for relaxation. Rooms are air conditioned and are super big! Even though the hotel was built in the 60s in renaissance style with some antique looking furniture, the bathroom is modern and of good size, which is a big plus!

About 20 min walk to Michelangelo piazza and more to the Duomo. Because we r up on a hill, the 20 min walk is not as easy as it seems. Luckily, there is a bus stop right outside of the hotel. We found that out only on the second day.

Excellent place away from the hustle and bustle but within 5 minutes bus ride and 10 minute walk would highly recommend, food at the restaurant was brilliant and well priced

This hotel was outstanding. A beautiful villa where we lived for 8 days in Florence and which we enjoyed so much we spent one day just in and around the villa. The breakfast service was terrific, lots of choice from boiled eggs (still warm) to Brie cheese to delicious jam-filled croissant to loads of fresh fruit. The hotel s on the #12 and #13 bus route, or you can walk down the hill to the Ponte Vecchio in 20 minutes. Wonderful stay. We'll be back, and soon I hope!

I would have liked more information at the desk on the Florence bus system. Also, the Wi-Fi service seemed erratic.

Set on the leafy green hillside, the hotel is quiet and restful and still just a 20 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Laura. The restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices, we enjoyed our dinners there.

The bathroom door was difficult to shut and so very noisy!

We liked everything in this hotel exept 1 small thing - there were no vegetables during the breakfast which is very pity. But all other things - just fantastic! Staff is very friendly and tried to help in all questions even if your italian is just poor. :) Rooms big, clean and with very nice and romantic view to the garden. Just one point - if it is possible to have a light on the terrace it will be good.

they put us in a room sprated from the main building of the hotel you can not control the aircondationing and that working according to the weather I rate this hotel as three stars and do not recommend any body to stay at this hotel at all

Beautiful setting, quiet , substaintial breakfast -an excellent selection of foods. Buses right outside of hotel, we enjoyed being out of the city but close enough with the excellent transport options available . Staff were very helpful with tourist information. Would love to go back

Quiet location on a hill overlooking Florence The wonderful friendly expert advice and assistance of Laura who is a huge asset to the hotel. Large comfortable well furnished room. Easy stroll to a superb small restaurant (ask Laura).

Once a private estate, staying at Park Palace is like being a pampered guest in a gracious home. The location is quiet but convenient to sites in the city.

The proximity to Florence. In the summer the pool would certainly be enjoyable after a day of walking in town.

Ensure you make reservations early if intentions are to visit museums. Having a bar or restaurant on the grounds would be convenient.

Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom and room clean. Quiet at night away from city traffic. The size of the room was great. Enjoyed our stay!

We loved the staff. They made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. We happened to just be sitting in the lobby waiting for a local restaurant to open and without asking they came in and started a fire for us. We also had to leave early the following morning and they knew we would miss breakfast. They very generously opened the restaurant for us and had coffee ready and enough food for us to travel especially since we had our children with us and nothing would be open for a while. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Park Place Hotel is on the southern side of the Arno River, which is leafier, closer to the Boboli Gardens, and many great restaurants are nearby. I love staying in old villas that are now hotels. This hotel had all the best of old world charm, with modern cleanliness and convenience added in. The staff recommended a fabulous restaurant in walking distance as well. Breakfast was very nice.

It's not far from the center. It has a public parking outside that is free during the night.

The air conditioner only works in the summer. They have central heating and it was a little high. I would not consider it has a 4-star hotel. The Wi-Fi was slow most of the time.
