Very good room. Nice bathroom and terrace. Lot parking place....many birds around.

Quiet location on a hill overlooking Florence The wonderful friendly expert advice and assistance of Laura who is a huge asset to the hotel. Large comfortable well furnished room. Easy stroll to a superb small restaurant (ask Laura).

Once a private estate, staying at Park Palace is like being a pampered guest in a gracious home. The location is quiet but convenient to sites in the city.

The proximity to Florence. In the summer the pool would certainly be enjoyable after a day of walking in town.

Ensure you make reservations early if intentions are to visit museums. Having a bar or restaurant on the grounds would be convenient.

Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom and room clean. Quiet at night away from city traffic. The size of the room was great. Enjoyed our stay!

We loved the staff. They made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. We happened to just be sitting in the lobby waiting for a local restaurant to open and without asking they came in and started a fire for us. We also had to leave early the following morning and they knew we would miss breakfast. They very generously opened the restaurant for us and had coffee ready and enough food for us to travel especially since we had our children with us and nothing would be open for a while. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Park Place Hotel is on the southern side of the Arno River, which is leafier, closer to the Boboli Gardens, and many great restaurants are nearby. I love staying in old villas that are now hotels. This hotel had all the best of old world charm, with modern cleanliness and convenience added in. The staff recommended a fabulous restaurant in walking distance as well. Breakfast was very nice.

It's not far from the center. It has a public parking outside that is free during the night.

The air conditioner only works in the summer. They have central heating and it was a little high. I would not consider it has a 4-star hotel. The Wi-Fi was slow most of the time.

Very good option if you are in Florence with a rented car for a few days. The car park in this hotel only cost 10 euros instead 30 euros in the hotels in the centre of the city. There are a short way to the centre of the city by food, only 15 minutes to Ponte Vecchio, and that´s fine. The hotel was in a rich area of Florence up of a hill.

The hotel was an old charming villa, but unfortunately is outdated. It would be one of the best choice´s to stay in Florence, but there some improvements to do. The reception is too small, the breakfast don´t fit the average, the elevator is small and obsolete....it´s a shame because the garden and the building are superb.

Location slightly on the outskirts of Florence was great as we did several day trips via car as well as explore the city. Gorgeous view. Great rooms and bathrooms! Staff was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and the awesome coffee machine was perfect!

I might not recommend this location for someone wanting only to explore Florence as a bus ride is required to get to the heart of the city. But the bus runs often and is right outside the front door.

The room was spacious and luxurious whilst retaining a classical Italian style. Only 20 min walk from the heart of Florence. Receptionist staff very helpful

We were charged twice but only stayed there one night. Mistake on our part on the booking but baring in mind the hotel was far from being full (off season), we were surprised to be charged for he first night that we didn't stay

The hotel is a beautiful villa with spectacular grounds in a very affluent, quiet area in the hills overlooking Firenze. The room was large, nicely furnished with a private balcony. The hotel staff was helpful and patient even with a few humorous language issues. The property exceeded expectations after reading other reviews which indicated a remote location requiring a car. The enjoyable walk to the Ponte Vecchio Bridge was less than 30 minutes for a couple in our mid 60's. We bought bus tickets from the hotel but never used them the three days we were there. The hotel happily bought them back. We can't imagine where one would drive or park a car in central Florence. Based upon the experience of other guests we dined at La Terrazza Del Principe, a short walk from the hotel, two of the three nights we stayed. It was wonderful food, a good value, with a cozy atmosphere and a view over the city. The family owners made us feel very welcome.

The hotel restaurant and bar were not open in March during our stay. It opens in April. Except for La Terrazza there is nothing immediately walkable from the hotel that we were aware of.

Very nice location and a special venue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice. Good breakfast. Although it is not in the city center the local bus and the hop on hop off bus stops in front of the hotel.

Manager was very rude and made you feel like an intruder rather than a guest. I will choose another hotel on my next trip to Florence. Also, it is not in the city center and was a 15 euro cab ride to and from the city. Busses only run every 30-40 minutes and less on weekends and at night. It really added up to a big extra expense.

It's a nice palace, with charme and in a good position for the ones who are travelling by car. You need a 15 minutes walk to reach Ponte Vecchio, a little more to get back, but we enjoyed it. You can also walk on the other direction and reach in a few minutes San Miniato al Monte and Piazzale Michelangelo. We booked 2 double rooms and they were both comfortable, quite and clean with a nice view. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

If you like to sleep on Carrara marmor beds, Park Palace Hotel is the right place for you!

Far from city center but accessible by bus.

Everything, friendly and discreet staff, good breakfast, fabulously spacious room and then was upgraded by the lovely Sabina. We then had our own private terrace! Spotless throughout, room serviced every day, beautiful setting amongst trees and I would think that all of the rooms would have a good outlook. .Lovely old palace furnished with antiques and memorabilia. A pleasant stroll into the city centre, so lush. Great restaurant just five minutes away, La Terrace. We ate there twice, great owners, Sabina and Nicola! We would go back in a heartbeat!

We liked everything about the Park palace facilities and staff and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wishing to experience the ultimate "Hotel" experience.Eventhough it was limited in terms of offering their full service because of the time of the year, on a scale of 0 to 10 we do not hesitate to give it a 10
