The breakfast was excellent.The bedroom & hotel lounges were very comfortable. We found the location was ideal & made it easy to see all Montecatini has to offer.Montecatini is also an ideal base to visit other towns & cities,such as Florence,Lucca & Pisa.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Hotel Parma e Oriente. The family run hotel provides comfortable surroundings and delicious wholesome Italian food. The staff are friendly and helpful at all times. A lovely relaxed place. It is in a great location - within walking distance of the train station, the various spas and the funicular to Alto Montecatini. Would highly recommend it to others.

Good hotel

The front desk employees were very helpful and open to give suggestions regarding restaurants and places to see. We stayed in room 404, which had a huge terrace with splendid view over the city! We will definitely stay in this hotel again once we are in Italy!!!!!

locate in the centre of the town and good breakfast

Location was great, easily accesible on the train to Florence and Lucca. Also close to the funicolare that takes you up to Montecatini Alto. Rooms spotless, clean pool and use of the bikes for free made seeing the town easy. Staff also very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast a little repetitive, but more than adequate.

The staff is very nice. The location is great. The rooms are very comfortable enjoying a safe and a mini refrigerator stocked with items to buy. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The pool was great and they had a very accommodating life guard I was happy to see extended poor hours in the heat. The breakfast was good and crossaints were fresh.

I wish breakfast was served until 10 am. I also think they should have a notice of the times of the breakfast buffet in the rooms or posted somewhere. I think their check out should be an hour later too.

The owners Giuseppe and Stephania were the nicest, most helpful people ever! The staff was very friendly as well, especially Marco, the head waiter. Food was always fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Our room was on the top floor with a very large balcony and a spectacular view. The pool was nice and clean, and even though a sign stated the pool hours to be between 10-1 and 4-6, the owners said that the pool can be used at any time if you don't make too much noise. The hotel was very clean and well kept, quaint, very charming Tuscany style, close to the city center, market place, shops, restaurants and the train/bus station.

Unfortunately wi-fi didn't work on our floor (4th). Shower is very small by American standards.....it was big enough for us, but if you are a large person, you will not fit in with the doors closed.

Comfortable hotel in Tuscany style, stuff very friendly, good italian coffe, nice place to relax after city trips nearby: Pisa, Firenze.

Nice staff.

On arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner of the hotel and made to feel welcome. It is a lovely 1920's hotel but with modern comforts. The room we had was extremely well appointed and was pristine. All the staff were friendly even though we spoke differing languages, and we also experienced lovely friendly times with them and also the owners who were excellent hosts. Nothing was a trouble to either the owners or the hotel staff who were willing to help in every way in a charming manner. There is an adequate swimming pool with loungers, towels and also a small garden area with a terrace where you can sit and relax. Each morning we watched the pool and area being thoroughly cleaned. Fronting the hotel there is a terrace with tables, seats and settees where you can people watch. The buffet breakfast is more than adequate but continental which is what you expect when traveling to the continent. You can take dinner in the hotel and food is typically Italian but once again the staff are excellent in trying to suit your taste within reason. Fresh plants and flowers are in abundance both inside and outside the hotel and there is much greenery. All in all our holiday was made memorable mostly due to staying in this delightful hotel and owners who care about their guests. We do hope that we are able to return soon.
