Parma E Oriente  

The owners Giuseppe and Stephania were the nicest, most helpful people ever! The staff was very friendly as well, especially Marco, the head waiter. Food was always fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Our room was on the top floor with a very large balcony and a spectacular view. The pool was nice and clean, and even though a sign stated the pool hours to be between 10-1 and 4-6, the owners said that the pool can be used at any time if you don't make too much noise. The hotel was very clean and well kept, quaint, very charming Tuscany style, close to the city center, market place, shops, restaurants and the train/bus station.

Unfortunately wi-fi didn't work on our floor (4th). Shower is very small by American standards.....it was big enough for us, but if you are a large person, you will not fit in with the doors closed.

Staff was most helpful. The location was very good and the area attractive. The lounge and breakfast room was beautiful and so was our room. All in all a delightful stay.

Parking not very close to hotel but could download luggage at reception and then go and park.

We liked the hotel very much as the hotel staff are superb and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the buffet breakfast is fantastic, usual cold meats, cheese, croissants, boiled eggs etc but selection of teas and coffees which is great. We could not fault this hotel for location as it's just a five to ten minute walk from the train station-remember to arrive and depart from Montecatini Centro station as it is closer than the Montecatini Terme station. The pool was lovely too with fresh towels at your disposal. Montecatini is a beautiful spa town and we would recommend highly a trip to Montecatini Alto, a little village on the mountaintop which can be accessed by the Funicular train, the views are spectacular from the top.Overall we found the hotel excellent and would recommend it highly.

Location is excelent for getting around, Hotel very comfortable, and clean. Nice pool and gardens.

I stayed at Parma E Oriente in September of 2011. Parma E Oriente is a comfortable central located hotel. The hotel service is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking with the owner of the hotel Mr. Giuseppe and his wife Stephanie. Giuseppe and Stephanie thank you very much for your hospitality and help. You made my short stay at your hotel very special and enjoyable.

We got the room close to main door, so it was noisy, the breakfast included only sweet food, and the receptionist forgot to give us back our passports and we found about it only in Perugia (2 hours drive).

The staff is very nice. The location is great. The rooms are very comfortable enjoying a safe and a mini refrigerator stocked with items to buy. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The pool was great and they had a very accommodating life guard I was happy to see extended poor hours in the heat. The breakfast was good and crossaints were fresh.

I wish breakfast was served until 10 am. I also think they should have a notice of the times of the breakfast buffet in the rooms or posted somewhere. I think their check out should be an hour later too.

Comfortable hotel in Tuscany style, stuff very friendly, good italian coffe, nice place to relax after city trips nearby: Pisa, Firenze.

Clean, great friendly staff, pretty antique furniture, comfortable bed, big balcony, delicious lunch, near center

location of hotel is perfect for access to places of interest and short walk to town for bars,restaurants etc .Staff were very helpful with advice for visiting florence using rail service rather than using car.will definately visit montecatini again and would be happy to stay in this hotel again.
