Angera is a very pretty little town on Lake Maggiore, northern Italy. It's about 40 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport. It has good restaurants and a great gelateria. The Rocca is well worth visiting and a day on the lake is to be recommended.

I particularly enjoyed the fireplace, what an atmosphere it provides. Although we didn't meet the hosts, the communication was perfect. We even got a welcome gift on arrival. Internet, TV, and electronics all worked perfectly. I definitely recommend this spot if you ever visit Angera.

There is a play park for kids just 1 min walk away and not too far to the ferry maybe 10 mins walk? The hotel staff are super friendly and helped in any way they could. We don't speak Italian but all staff here spoke multiple languages which was very helpful!
