The Pendini is designed to please everyone. The rooms are clean, friendly staff, showers are excellent (considering I have seen some inadequate ones), location is very central and the breakfast was absolutely divine. I am confident to recommend Pendini to any traveller.
Evereything, especially the breakfast and the fantastic location.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Great Location. Easy parking arrangement.
friendly staff nice location
no friedge in the room, rooms are bit small
Location, friendly staff, ambience, breakfast.
Excellent location for exploring Florence
In reality I think Pendini is a pensions and not a full service hotel. I did not know that when booking.
Old-fashioned elegance. Comfortable bed. Cool room (temperature!) Very good choice at breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.
No drawers, only a wardrobe. The rooms without a view really don't have a view but was only in it for a nap or at night so didn't matter.
The location was ideal and the staff was very accommodating
The shower only had a half door so water was all over the bathroom when you were done taking a shower
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. Would recommend and return myself. An unsung treasure
next door neighbor was unhappy with the outside noise but blamed us. When you have a piazza view it comes with some noise. We were so tired the only thing that woke us up was the neighbor calling to complain.
central location , clean and spacious rooms and air conditioning. perfect hosts too
Location Staff very friendly and helpful Lovely room Great breakfast
Price a little high
Able to leave cases Breakfast Character
The location is FANTASTIC
The rooms are small Staff was not helpful rooms were not comfy WAY too expensive for what you get
Location was great. Walking distance to everything.
Perfect location in the hearth of Florence with a lovely view of 'Piazza della Repubblica'. The antique furniture with modern comfort. Staff attentive to detail with discreet service
Walk to everything, near train station, great shopping, all museums & historical areas, choice of restaurants all within walking distance.
Nothing to dislike. Would stay here again.
Location, nice room,
A gracious and elegant hotel, in a perfect location. Would have loved to spend more time at the hotel, and hopefully next time we will!
The tiny lift was inconvenient for groups travelling with luggage, but was a small irritation compared to all the other wonderful features of the hotel.
Location.. Staff.. Nice breakfast.. Very elegant hotel.
No refrigerator in the hotel... No safe in the room..
The view from the room was wonderful. It was very central only a few minutes to top the Cathedral and only a few minutes to the river and the old bridge.
Since the hotel is at 3-4 level, it was necessary to use the elevator and it was small and slow.
Helpful staff, comfortable beds, decoration, history on the hotel in the foyer. Breakfast super (although coffee was not the best I had on holiday), but this is a real minor point!
Although they served drinks it would have been once to have a bar overlooking the square.
The facilities were clean and comfortable. There were a lot of pictures from the early 1900's on the walls and the manager was a history buff, so he could tell us alot about what was going on in them. The staff was extremely helpful. They were able and willing to answer all of out questions. Our room was a suite with sitting area, balcony, large bed and large bathroom. The building was modern inside, but maintained it's historical significance on the outside. The location was perfect for walking to all Florence sights.
If driving, check ahead of time that you can drive into the area. Italy has zones in the historical district where you can't drive your car without getting steep fines. This is not the hotel's fault. We parked in a lot outside of the historical area and called a cab. It worked well since we didn't need a car in our perfect location.
