Set in a quiet traffic-free zone, Pensione Elio Pistolese is found in the historic centre of Radda in Chianti. It offers rooms with views of the city centre and traditional cotto-tiled floors. Ok room with bath for one night stay. No facilities. But ok for our purpose. Inside the city walls, so perfect for our stay.

Good location, relatively spacious rooms, 'old atmosphere'. The 'communal kitchenette free to use' (announced on booking.com) is very poorly equipped and almost useless.

We arrived at Pensione Elio Pistolesi to find out that there was a problem with the water and so we were relocated - to a vineyard!!! We were so happy. The room was large, bathroom great and location perfect. There was no kitchen facility here as had been advertised at the pensione, but the location more than made up for that. We were less than 1km from town, and a supermarket. There was a restaurant on site too. The peace and view were awesome. We would have stayed for a week.

It had a nice atmosphere and it is situated in a beautiful location. Perfect basis for exploring the region of Chianti. Radda has a few nice restaurants, it is close to all the cities you are recommended to visit in the region of Chianti.

Bien placé dans la rue principale et piétonne de Radda, à 150 m du parking public. Accueillis par une jeune femme très charmante, parlant parfaitement le français. Chambre simple mais spacieuse. Il faisait un peu froid dans la chambre à l'arrivée. (10 degrés c dehors), hors saison, ils ont attendus d'être certains que nous venions pour allumer les radiateurs. Quelques verres de vin toscan au bar d'à côté nous ont réchauffé tandis que la chambre faisait de même.

La struttura è vecchia ed è realizzata su un fabbricato vecchio. Tutto sommato comunque è pulita e soprattutto non si fa pagare in maniera eccessiva. Può essere consigliabile per chi ha budget limitati. Eviterei di fare periodi lunghi qui.

Posizione ottima per centro città e prezzo imbattibile in loco. Per la medesima posizione di spende il doppio !!! Potendo..... Abbiamo solamente pernottato. molto, molto modesta sistemazione, si sapeva quindi nessuna sorpresa.

L'accueil est sympathique ; l'établissement est bien situé dans la rue piétonne de cette petite ville historique,centrale dans la province du chianti. Pas de possibilité de petit déjeûner sur place, pas de parking proche, mais des places sur un parking en contrebas de la ville. Chambre un peu fraiche (27/04/2012) dans une maison de caractère avec des murs épais. Bonne étape malgré un tarif moyennement élevé. Température basse dans la pièce Prix

La posizione centrale. Riscaldamento spento nonostante la temperatura fosse davvero poco gradevole soprattutto di prima mattina. La tv compresa nel prezzo non c'era perchè sembra che il tecnico l'avesse presa ma, poco credibile, perchè noi abbiamo soggiornato la domenica e il lunedì di Pasqua.....

Eenvoudige, grote kamer in het centrum van het kleine stadje Radda in Chianti. Badkamer met toilet, wastafel en douche, eenvoudig maar goed. Prima om alleen te slapen. Het is een pension alleen om te slapen, verder is er helemaal niets extra. Ook geen echte receptie. Vrij prijzig voor alleen slapen.

Horrible hotel, the equipment was very basic without any maintenent. The window almost could not proper close, therefore you have to open the window to sleep, receiving loud noise till the middle night 3 clock, however in the morning 5, there were already traffic, motor..etc. In the bathroom , there wasn't any cabin for the shower, only one dirty plastic. Horrible hotel, l'équipement était très basique, sans aucun entretien. La fenêtre ne se fermant pas correctement, nous avons du la garder ouverte pour dormir, recevant le bruit de la rue jusqu'a 3h du matin, et celui-ci recommencant vers 5h avec le traffic, motos, etc. Il n'y avait pas de cabine pour la douche, juste un morceau de plastique sale et moisi.
