Ca' Angeli has great views over the Grand Canal from its lounge and breakfast room. Rialto Bridge is close by and Santa Lucia Station is a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 328 reviews Excellent
The Locanda is near Venice's S.Marcuola Church, right by the vaporetto stop. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a private bathroom, some offer views.

Offering a quiet location on a small square, Hotel San Gallo is in a historic building just 55 yards from Saint Mark's Square.
Score from 536 reviews Very good
It is in the main Venice island city , right in the heart of venice, the san marco square is 2 stops away from the sea-bus. market & Sea bus station is right outside the property. good breakfast and polite welcoming staff, worth going back to.
the large room was right at the top on the 4th Floor with NO LIFT -- It is quite an exercise to get up & down especially with small kids.
The room was beautiful, breakfast was great, and the location was amazing.
I liked everything, the beds could be more comfortable, but it was acceptable.
The location was great and the staff very helpful. Iwould stay here again.
Location, owner/ operator !
Stairs, but the clerk and owner could not have been more helpful!!!
- Location, just enough away from Rialto bridge (too many people) and close enough to all the sights. - Cleanliness, our Apt (24), was very clean. - Staff, very helpful and accomodating. - air conditioning unit was very quiet
- too many stairs, we were on the 4th floor, no elevator. - a little noisy at night due to popular bar nearby - a little noisy early morning due to set- up of market stalls just steps from Pensione - protein items ( eggs, bacon) missing from breakfast menu
The Pensione Guerrato is well located near the east end of the Realto Bridge, At the Realto Marketo Vapporetta stop, making it easy to reach all the sites, The staff is friendly and eager to be helpful and informative. Our room, #21, was spacious, had an outstanding view, was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The included breakfast, while not offering a meat item, was very good. This hotel deserves the Rick Steves recommendation it has earned.
This 800 historic building understandably has no elevator. This is not really a negative as the stairs to the upper floors, where most of the rooms are located, are not difficult. Nonetheless, travellers should know this about the hotel and be prepared.
Fabulous architecture and furnishings, central location, comfortable beds, very clean, good air conditioning and friendly helpful staff. Wished we could have stayed longer than 2 nights - this hotel will always be our most memorable amazing hotel.
Everything was excellent.
Pensione Guerrato was great! The staff spoke English and was very helpful. Great breakfast! Location - close to everything in Venice.
The location is very convenient - right next to the Rialto Mercato vaporetto stop. The rooms are comfortable, clean and pleasant; the whole property has a lot of character. Our room overlooked the market stalls and had a view of the Grand Canal. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Hightly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
Minor remarks: 1. The toiletries were a bit basic - could have done with a hair conditioner and a shower cap. 2. Lack of TV; however, there was a free wi-fi. Plus, who has the time to watch telly when Venice has so much to offer, anyway...
Everyone was very friendly, the hotel was lovely, and in a great location just off the market and beside a vaporetto stop. For all that is was central it was also really quiet at night.
Nothing, really. It wasn't cheap, but all hotels in Venice are expensive so this was good value for money.
Great location with a large room ad AC worked.
Great welcome and good value.
It's a very, very pleasant pansione - such apartment is what I expected from Venice. The location is excellent - very comfortable to reach it returning from the day-walks. No problem to leave a baggage in the hotel after check-out to wander the city without bags.
Breakfast was too modest.
Computers for travelers broke the entire 3 day stay. Allowed to use concierge computer which allowed hacking of personal email and associated information. This caused obvious major travel problems. Never again......
Night clerk not overly attentive and forgot to remind us to return the key. Other staff very helpful.
Great location near Rialto Bridge. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom big and well appointed. Staff helped with bags. Breakfasts were Italian-style but did have a range of cereals.
There is no lift and we were on level 4 with very heavy bags. No coffee or tea in room. I suggest that the Pensioner send guest directions on how to get there from Rail Station and Piazza Roma. Suggest canal boat.
This was our second stay here and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Steps away from the Rialto Mercado stop, and excellent location as a base for exploring the city. The rooms and baths are beautiful and spotlessly clean. New windows block out the noise from the bustling activity below and keep the room comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the price is excellent. Don't let the lack of stars fool you, this is a wonderful place to stay in an easy location.
Good localisation in the town Size of the room
Little bit noisy due to a pub
