Hotel Perla  

All three staff working at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful (to the point of helping me carry to the room my extra heavy suitcase). The room was small, but nice and clean.

Nothing to complain about for that price.

The hotel is located not far from the supermarkets and a very good cafe bar (unfortunately I don't remember its name)

Non-orthopedic mattress, far from the center and railway staytion. As compare prices with other italians cityes in Bologna they are rather high, no good shopping in bologna

this is family business, so they pay much attention to the reputation. have very good personel. I like this hotel much. Respect!

Location, but if you are driving a car, you are doomed to fail.

Bologna is very expensive, so given the location and room, no, it's not too bad. was spotless clean, everything new, just very basic.

bed was super uncomfortable, but aside from that, the problem was that i didn't like anything, but I also didn't exactly dislike anything - it served a purpose

Bologna is famous with old and not so modern accommodation. Do not look for comfort, enjoy the city and just go back to hotel for sleep.

The very best option for this kind of money. A real hotel, and even is the bathroom is external, it's private (and can be closed with the key). Wi-fi works. The staff is very helpful. So, if you're on budget, you can't find anything better than Hotel Perla.

Everything was exellent, very helpfull and kind staff. The hotel is 7 min by walk from the city center and just 30 seconds near the bus #32 station which ges from the Central Train Station.

I think that for a room with the WC&both room outside the room, the price should be less expensive. 40 EUR for such kind of room is not value for money, Max 30 EUR.

Hotel Perla is great located in the center of Bologna. Very nice host and very clean room with WIFI facilities and an own bathroom. In the same street there is one of the best restaurant (quality/cheap) of Bologna and it is situated close (10 min walking) to the night life zone.

Everything was all right

The staff were great. We had no Italian but their English helped us enormously. We had a small difficulty contacting a person from our arranged cooking school and the staff in attendance had endless patience and was very kind to us.

The room's ventilation was inadequate. We found that despite having windows open, there was no air circulation or electric fan to use. We slept very poorly because of this.

The room was tidy. Price was good and the staff helped to get along in the city. I searched an appartment to stay in Bologna, so the location is perfect to run to other parts of city to find an appartment. Hotel is very central.

It's in quite loud district.

Friendly staff, anxious to help me understand Bologna, to direct me to the best museums and galleries, and the best restaurants. Interesting and lively street, near to the town centre. Really good pizzeria and trattoria close by called SpaccaNapoli.

The staff at the front desk were excellent, very helpful and welcoming, both the owner in the morning and his colleague in the evening. The location is quite central, close to the Two Towers and other major squares in Bologna, just down the street is a promising looking pizzeria called Spacca Napoli which unfortunately I didn't have time to visit but heard great things about.

Nothing major, just that I didn't have a proper bath towel but as I was only staying a night it didn't matter much.

I stayed at hotel Perla for one week - it's almost in the hart of historical center - enjoyed staying there and will miss it since then

Nice people at the reception.

No fan or aircon in the room, in spite of the heat in the place at that moment. Stairs - dont take heavy luggage with you!

Chap at the front desk was hilarious! Very helpful as well for a first time visitor. The hotel was a short walk in to the two towers etc. Loads of bars and restaurants only a few minutes up the road and quite near to the university and young people!

Nothing negative to say here. Saw that others had found it noisy but only noticed the traffic with the window open during the day, no problems at night.

Zona poco tranquilla e molto rumorosa di notte. Personale non scortese ma neppure particolarmente gentile e disponibile. La struttura in generale (camere compresi) è molto vecchia e tenuta male, si respira ovunque il classico "odore di vecchio". In generale, sconsigliato!

Erg gehorig. Geen goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding: te duur voor wat er geboden werd. Sobere kamers en sanitair.

Het bed was niet goed, de deur van de kamer naar de binnenplaats sloot niet. Het hotel heeft geen eigen ontbijtruimte.
