Weak wifi and bathroom smells
The room was exelent. I enjoy very much the panoram from my room to the river.
The suite was very spacious and had an air of opulence about it, also had an excellent view over the Grand Canal (to where Johnny Depp jumped off the balcony in The Tourist). It was kept very clean by the staff and although one cannot have kettles or coffee machines in the rooms, tea was only a telephone call away though. The water taxi stop is just outside and one can start their walk or gondola ride through the streets of Venice with a minutes walk from the hotel's entrance. The staff were extremely attentive, polite and friendly. Lovely arrival gift left in room, thank you.
The air-conditioning could not be controlled by the thermostat. Only one electric point would charge up mobile or iPad. Breakfast was adequate by had better in far lower priced hotels, and breakfast coffee was from a vending machine and was awful! it's Italy for goodness sake. Wifi internet connection was poor.
Venice has many millions of visitors a year and rests on its laurels a bit – apparent in many places. This is a beautiful hotel right next to the Ca’d’oro vaporetto stop, with a very pleasant little garden, its own landing stage, a wonderful view of the canal grande, a sumptuous reception room on the first floor and lovely, quirky bedrooms (well, mine was) with antique style furniture. There was a selection of snacks in the room and a nice bowl of fresh fruit. But it feels understaffed. There is a bar, but you have to go and bother someone if you want something from it. But this is Venice, so when you’ve bothered them and they have efficiently delivered it, you forgive anything. Staff on reception are pleasant and efficient, but sometimes you feel you are interrupting them in the middle of something more important.
The breakfast is disappointing. Of all the 7 hotels in 3 countries I stayed in on this trip, this was the least rewarding. There is pretty much the usual layout but both coffee and fruit juice (1 kind only) are from a machine. There didn’t seem to be a choice of bread. No one welcomes you. There is one person to sort out any problems but they don’t greet or apparently notice you, so it was that on my third day when I sat in the breakfast room with my camera on the table I was presumably suspected of having walked in from the street as I was asked rather suspiciously for my room number.
location clean informative room
Breakfast was basic wifi wasn't stable
Four star luxury
A little bit expensive
We had a wonderful time there!! The hotel location is just prefect, you can take the vaporetto just in front of the door, or you can walk to the main attractions. The hotel is very beautiful and has a wonderful garden in front of it, besides the Gran canal!! I would go there always!
On the first morning the sink on the showers was not working...all the water stays on the floor. On the second morning there was something wrong with the hot water, and we couldn't take a shower. They did not tell us that was going to happen in advance.
Our junior suite was so perfectly Venetian! As a retired Interior designer I loved the gold damask silk upholstered walls, the spectacular Murano glass chandeliers with scarlet crystals, the over sized red tufted leather headboard, high ceilings finished in Venetian paster with a brushed pearl overlay. The detail was gorgeous! Luxurious linens, comfy bed. Breakfast was included with great choices and again, beautiful upholstery in the dining room. Murano glass chandeliers everywhere!!! Great location on the Grand Canal. Very close to the vaporetti water bus stop, a nice garden area. We would definitely stay again...love this hotel!!!
Would have liked coffee service in our room.
We really liked the location and the hotel was very nice.
The staff seemed angry all of the time. They gave us a handicap room and we are not handicapped, the bathroom in our room was horrible the shower would flood when taking a shower. We felt we did not receive the same service as non booking.com guests.
C'adOr station right outside for vaporette. Very convenient too if coming by private water taxi. Comfy beds and good breakfast though not excellent. Close to shopping area yet very quiet.
A coffee/tea area in room would have been nice.
Location is very close to ACTV station.
The hotel give me the room that have major defect in bathroom. One side of the plastic walls that built for prevent water splashing from bath tub is missing. Therefore, it is very difficult to take a bath without making the floor wet and slippery. The 4 star hotel with room price over 300 Euro should not give this kind of room to the customer. Wifi signal also very poor.
This hotel went beyond my expectations. From arrival,it is so easy to find once off the waterbus at Ca d Oro, the reception staff were helpful, friendly and did their job promptly and the room itself,a delight.I had a Superior Room. The breakfast was very good and windows had a nice outlook. The building itself was lovely. The whole experience made my trip to Venice so much better. In fact, if it wasn't for Pesaro Palace, Venice would not have been so enjoyable!
There is not 1 thing to complain about.
I love Venice and the stay there was very convenient and comfortable!! Would highly recommend
The property was beautiful.
The desk clerk on duty when we arrived was extremely rude. She actually yelled at one member of our party who questioned the fact that her room was not as reserved. Made for a very uncomfortable experience.
Great location and fantastic evening canal cruise after dinner
Poor communication regarding payments that required cash
The Pesaro Palace is in an ideal location by the Ca D'Oro. The vaporetto stops there, a few yards away is the Strada Nova with shops, restaurants and all the facilities you could need. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is beautifully appointed; spotless and comfortable. The garden area has comfortable seats and tables ideal for an al fresco drink. We have stayed in many hotels in Venice. The Pesaro Palace will be our hotel of choice in the future.
The Pesaro Palace can not be faulted.
Conveniece for transportation, right at the water bus stop (line 1&N). Very good facilities and quiet place to sleep at night.
Staff was courteous and attentive without being overbearing or pretentious. Rooms were comfortable and well stocked
I got up very early for a flight (6:30 am) and the hot water for my shower was very sporadic...
I liked every thing in this hotel I will never book for another hotel in Venice than PESARO PALACE
This hotel has a central location, right next to the water taxi stop Ca'D Oro stop. Great access to everything. Room is good sized, very clean and good breakfast.
This hotel there is no facility to cook even just simple water
Extra large bed and beautiful room
Very well located right next to the Water Bus Terminal. Great breakfast, and the hotel staff cared for our bags after checking out until later in the day when we left by train. Short walking distance (5 Canal Bridges) from the Train Station.
The hotel's location is the best in Venice! It's on the waterbus stop Ca D Oro and a few minutes walk from the Piazza. Room 201 was fantastic, it overlooked the Grand Canal. Our room was spacious, had a shower and jacuzzi bath. Breakfast was excellent, from bacon and eggs to fruit tart and everything in between. Good coffee! Reception was very helpful, we arrived without or luggage and they guided us to "one stop" shops where we could find clothes and beauty products in no time. I will return to Venice just to stay in Pesaro Palace again!
