In a beautiful part of Tuscany, just out of the mountains. The staff, especially the manager, Eugene, is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. He directed us to the resort very late at night (due to car trouble), since it is a few miles outside Rufina. Free parking in big lot off highway. Wonderful grounds with huge simming pool (lcals can swim there but it was off-season when we stayed, so no problem). Breakfast very good. The setting is ideal and the location, about 20 miles from Florence, keeps you out of the traffic and expensive hotels in the city. Nothing to dislike---a relatively inexpensive resort compared to others in Tuscany! Very visitor friendly.

We used the hotel for a stop-over on the way home from southern Italy. The size of the family room was great with 3 very good beds for us and our 2 children. It was quiet and air-conditioned. Perfect. Really good that we didn't have to go and search for dinner locally but could make use of the hotel's resturant with an excellent menu and accommodating for a young family. The hotel's swimming pool - complete with kids pool - and accompanying playground were brilliant for our kids after a long drive.

The staff in this villa/resort are really outstanding,we stayed here as a base for the Italian moto gp race and they were excellent in helping us get everything organised.The food in the on site restaurant was first class for dinner as well as breakfast.Great pools( kids pool as well)with a nice little bar where you can enjoy a drink after a day exploring the wonderful countryside in this region.Would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. La struttura (caratterizzata dai bellissimi muri in pietra) è molto raffinata; le camere sono eleganti e curate, senza però risultare pacchiane. Ottimo anche il ristorante. E' l'ideale sia per soggiorni di lavoro che per "fughe romantiche". Io ho piacevolmente coniugato entrambe le cose! :)

Bra personal och bra service. Middagen på kvällen bestod av tre mycket väl tilltagna rätter! Lite besvikelse över att poolen var stängd för säsongen.

la gentilezza e cordialità del personale, le camere pulite e confortevoli, il grande parco con piscina, il ristorante di ottima qualità fanno di pian d'ercole la situazione giusta per un soggiorno indimenticabile. il condizionamento della camera un pò rumoroso.

Prima verblijf in een mooie omgeving, vriendelijk personeel, goed restaurant, mooie hotelkamer met uitstekend sanitair Het buiten terras zag er niet uitnodigend uit in tegenstelling tot de andere publieke ruimten. Het zwembad wordt meer door gasten van buiten dan door hotelgasten gebruikt.

Situation geographique, calme, piscine Chambre petite, avions demandé une chambre triple, finalement chambre double avec lit d'appoint, petit dejeuner accès trop sur le sucré et pas assez sur le salé, restaurant indigne de l'hotel 4 etoiles

L'hotel è immerso in una campagna tranquilla e silenziosa, la struttura è molto graziosa, lo staf è gentile e cordiale. Il parcheggio del hotel, nel lato opposto della strada è al buio e non asfaltato, di notte abbiamo rischiato di cadere. Manca un ascensore per salire/scendere le valigie. Per uscire dalla struttura, bisogna chiedere ogni volta al personale, di apriere il cancello. Nella doccia abbiamo trovato la scarico otturato dai capelli. L'arredo delle terrazze esterne andrebbe curato con tavoli e sedie che non siano di plastica (non dovrebbero esserci in una struttura di 4 stelle)

Ottimo ambiente con personale molto professionale e discreto. Ottimi anche colazione e cena dove hanno prestato molta attenzione anche a mia moglie che e' celiaca (al mattino anche cornetti caldi..). La piscina e' aperta anche agli esterni e durante un pomeriggio (su 5) e' stato difficile trovare sdraio libere.

Struttura magnificamente restaurata immersa nella campagna del Chianti e gestita con grande cortesia ed affabilità. E' assolutamente da consigliare tenuto conto anche della possibilità di usufruire di un maneggio nelle vicinanze e di un'ottima piscina.

Sehr hilfsbereites Personal, alles sehr sauber. Konnten unsere Motorräder auf einen verspärten Parkplatz abstellen. Frühstück ist "Italienisch" wir Österreicher sind sehr verwöhnt. Leider war das Restaurant noch nicht in Betrieb. Wetterbedingt das Pool auch nicht! Die Lage ist am Ortsrand von Rufina (Centrum, 5 Gehminuten), super Ausgangspunkt für Motorradtouren in alle Richtungen.

Waitress in restaurant is the only person really professional ! No wifi in rooms, restaurant very explensive for what you have in the plate, hotel team people eat in the same time than guests (!!!) diner & breakfast, too expensive for the low service, garden not well made, not so quiet in case of football match,... Impossible to reach the reception on phone before check out ... she had breakfast at a table near guests !!! absolutely not a resort !!! there's only a simple swimming pool, and nothing else... Won't come back, for sure, it's not a 4* hotel

Utrolig hyggelig personale, fine omgivelser. Beliggenhet utenfor Rufina, men for vår del var det helt ok. Vi spiste middag på hotellet og det var en flott opplevelse. God mat og godt utvalg i gode viner. Bassenget til Resorten var åpent for andre enn hotellets gjester, så det kan være ganske fult der.
