The water in the toilet running by not understandable principles. You never know works it or not. The room was full with mosquitoes, husband all night fight with them, but in the morning the ceiling was again full.
Nice staff and breakfast. Location is good (though I arrived at another train station that is very far from here...) 10 mins walk to the church and Uffiz. Many restaurants nearby.
Weak WIFI signal. The facilities are old. My mattress was kinda wet. Cleanliness is alright...
It's ok for tourists to stay.
The staff, in particular the male receptionist, were very supportive when they heard that I had my passport and money stolen at a train station. I observed the staff in action with other guests too, they were polite, helpful and positive.
Close to main attractions, such as Duomo, Palazzo Medici and others. Clean and spacious room, breakfast diversified with buffet, very helpfull staff. Close to the station and supermarket (15 minutes walk). Bus station near the hotel (2 min walk). Vicino ad attrazioni turistiche come il Duomo e il Palazzo Medici. Camera pulita e spaziosa, colazione a buffet diversificato. Molto accogliente tutto il personale. Vicino alla stazione e supermercato (15 minuti a piedi). Stazione degli autobus vicino all albergo (2 minuti a piedi).
Very comfortable and clean. Changed towels daily. Friendly staff Would stay again
Breakfast is bread bread and more bread Street noise at night (not unbearable but there if you let it get to you)
Very friendly owner and helpful, breakfast was a surprise, didn't expect that much for the amount we paid. We had a quiet room from traffic and room and bathroom big. Free WiFi.
We had a room next to the kitchen so was woken at 5am with all the banging around but he did warn me but I didn't expect that early, shame, and the shower was just barely warm so this would be no good in winter, I would make sure you have hot water when you check in.
location (near historic part of town centre), friendly atmosphere, nice coffee
a bit shabby looking, very tiny lift
good price, good breakfast and nice staff
5 min walk to train station. But remember everywhere in Florence is close and 15 min walk.
They want you to pay the day you arrive. Not very friendly staff. Shower cabinet broken. Hair dryer doesn't work. No safe in rooms. One tiny soap for 4 people, 2 days. Oh and the clean towels smell like vinegar.
1. breakfast 2. bathroom 3. room is dirty
quiet room near to station helpful staff
pay extra for airconditioner
The owner of this hotel is very graceful couple and they are very much welcoming and down to earth. They always help us in guiding so many things. The breakfast is also very good I highly recommend this hotel
Staff is wonderful, very gentle and helpful. Breakfast is very good, they can "calibrate" the coffee as you wish ;) The room is big, the windows are enormous and you can have fresh air all the time. I´d definetlly come back!
The staff were friendly and willing to help.
The facility is in poor conditions and need to have improvements. The room smells.
a good choice if there are no other hotels and you have just to sleep, not so far from central station,
Spacious rooms, excellent location
Floor of the room was not very clean and appeared old.
Clean and large rooms. Good location.
Noise outside, poor wifi signal in the room, two single beds instead of the requested double, breakfast breads were quite stale
The staff was friendly and professional.
Bathroom facilities were cramped.
The staffs are kind.
The place was quite far from the station and there were so many mosquitoes. I had to catch them the whole night for my kids.
-Location -Breakfast not bad (simple bad good)
No safe-deposit box
Price, staff, location
Mosquitoes, breakfast choice, the rooms to the street are very noisy
very good breakfast (especially orange and grapefruit juice), good location, clean and big room (Quadruple), friendly staff
The people were really kind!!!
The room was noisy!!!!! Breakfast poor!!! For somebody who do not like walking, will find the location bad
Location was not bad - 10 mins from station and Duomo on foot. Cheap but you really do get what you pay for.
Breakfast was very poor. A mini buffet with about 5 different types of stale bread and some low quality ham and cheese - no fruit available. Wifi was slow and had poor signal in our room. Service was average until the end when the manager accused us of stealing a component of the bathroom door handle (!!!) in our room which BROKE upon first use - evidently because it had not been screwed on properly in the first place. Refused to believe us and insinuated that we were lying when we said we didn't know which component he was talking about and that it was HIS problem anyway, not ours. Absolutely ridiculous, rude and put a sour note on the whole stay - left feeling highly insulted. Avoid unless you enjoy being blamed for the maintenance problems of the hotels in which you stay.
