Next to Siena's historic walls, Le Lupe is a converted factory from the 20th century that now offers spacious rooms. It is 10 minutes' walk from Siena's central square, Piazza del Campo.
Score from 43 reviews Very good
Centrally located and very convenient
Furniture in rooms was a bit old and wifi not working properly
Had a fantastic time in Siena, hotel was perfect...perfect location and staff who were always willing to help especially Lucrezia and her cute little doggie "Chanel" who I hope are doing well. Hated leaving the place but will definitely be back.
We didn't like leaving the place!
Location is perfect, everything is accessible by walk The room was big with a real bathroom Host was nice and answered our questions kindly
Noise in the street but manageable when windows were closed That's all !
Very basic rooms..with bad bed, no view, no fridge, no kettle, no lift (on one side of d hotel), not even an A/c remote. Highly disappointed.
location, Leopold at the front desk was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations, TV, A/C, curtains blocked street noise
Helpful staff, location, size of room.
Noise from street. Hard to find and get to.
Location! Nice staff
Parking space far outside and very expensive
Location was great; great dining around the corner, near large piazza, quiet street/entrance
Just a little difficult to park outside city walls and then walk back; we got caught in a torrential downpour!
I'm pleased with everything about this hotel! thanks very much to this hotel! because its not the hotel I have reserved a month ago, when we have been cheated by the B&B II Pettirosso di Siena(when I send a email to this hotel before the night we'll arrive ,she didn't answer me ,and when we arrived according to the date we have reserved, she just told me there was no room for us and ask us to another hotel on the hill, but when we arrived we found that hotel is beside a road and the room is very noise, when we telephoned her again she never answer us.we have to choose another hotel )the piccolo hotel etruria was the another hotel we choose, and the owner is so kind and helped us much.
location and friendly staff. Air con.
bit noisy but city centre so to be expected, especially around time of Palio
A great deal of noise from the street during the night
Location is excellent; directly off the Campo. Friendly staff, and decent room.
Lot of noise coming in from the street (which is the downside of very central location).
Staff was very nice and welcoming. The location was great. The room was clean.
The air conditioning wasn't working the room felt like an oven. The beds weren't comfortable.
Such a great location and helpful staff. It was fantastic to feel like a part of il Palio.
The AC was very weak and inadequate.
Perfect location just seconds away from il campo, spacious room. Staff has been very helpful. They answers all our questions even before we could ask them!! Will go back for next Palio for sure!!!
staff very friendly
ac not working very well very noisy due to bar close by outside wifi very unreliable and not user friendly
Location, location, location - and very friendly staff.
Rooms small and pretty uncomfortable.
Great location, lots of shops and restaurants. Half a block from the square.
A little noise at night singing and party in the streets
The location can't be beat, just steps from il Campo. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable.
The location for the price is impossible to beat.
Air conditioner in hot June weather not functional.
Merely steps from the Campo... we watched people pass from the spacious window overlooking a main street. Windows were soundproof, so it was very quiet at night, despite lots of activity outside. City is alive! Sweet place. I would definitely return.
It was great... Very pleased with this choice. Tiny bathroom - but typical of Italy. We did not take the breakfast for an extra costs, which we originally thought was included.
Good price to quality ratio. Proximity to piazza de campo. Friendly and helpful staff. Extremely cosy room even though its a bit small.
The water in bathroom is hard to control the temp.
Great location and helpful staff.
Showering here was torturous. Water pressure and temperature fluctuations were frustrating.
The fantastic location only 65 steps from Piazza del Campo
Very good location near everything
