Piccolo Hotel La Valle  

The Piccolo Hotel La Valle was fantastico! The position is perfect fro visiting Pienza. Located just outside the wall a short walk the the center and all activity. The staff is very nice and will help with planning your days and evenings. We celebrated the New Year in Pienza in 2011/12 and again this year. This was our first stay at Piccolo, and will not be the last stay. We love this region of Italy and visit often as we live a few hours to the south. Pienza in general is in a perfect location to see the quintessential Tuscany...rolling hills, cypress lined drives, medieval villages etc.... If you do visit Pienza ask the staff to reserve a table for you at Latte di Luna Ristorante...order the "Maialino Latte di Luna" you will not be disappointed....

Fantastic views from the hotel. Very good location in Southern Tuscany . Very friendly owners who are helpful re restaurants etc. Great value.

We stayed 1 night in this very convenient and comfortable town centre family run hotel. This purpose built hotel is within a few minutes walk of the centre of Pienze with onsite car parking. The staff are helpful in providing advice about places to visit and eat. We had a small, comfortable, clean, quiet room with cotton sheets on the bed and a small balcony with lovely views across the Tuscan countryside. The continental self-service breakfast, served on the terrace, was good. We would have no hesitation in booking a future stay at this hotel.

Staff were not exactly friendly, not unfriendly either but 'neutral'. Breakfast was disappointing, no fresh fruit salad.

Piccolo Hotel la Valle is a gem in Pienza. Located in a quiet quarter of Pienza it offers fine rooms with en-suite facilities of top standard. The city center of Pienza is within 5 minutes walking distance. The hotel offers parking in their own rather small garage. If full, you can use free outdoor places available within easy walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. They speak very well English. Breakfast - which you also take in the nice garden - was of superb quality with everything you can wish (including even a fruit salad, which is rather rare in Italy).The price-quality ratio is excellent. Difficult to imagine that there would be something better in Pienza or vicinity.

We would recommend this hotel to everyone. The views from the room were amazing and the staff extremely friendly. It was ideally situated in Pienza for trips to the surrounding Tuscan villages.

The hotel was in a great location and if you have a car, they offer parking (and even park it for you). I believe this is a new hotel, as everything appeared to be up to date. The service was excellent, as we had several requests to the front desk, and they always helped and were very friendly. One of the highlights is the view from the breakfast area. It is a gorgeous view of the surrounding countryside. It was a little chilly, so we didn't sit outside, but they have some tables in a little courtyard with roses along the wall. Really beautiful!

The staff was extremely professional yet warm and friendly. Marco was very helpful and well informed in guiding us explore Val D'Orcia. All his suggestions were on the mark. Parking was tight at times but he was always available in valeting the vehicles at the hotel. I would return without hesitation. A hidden gem when staying ib Pienza.

We stayed in the room with a balcony overlooking beautiful hills of Tuscany and even enjoyed a beautiful dawn at the balcony.

Having dreamt of Tuscany for years now, my expectations were high for our weeks roundtrip in the area. Booking rooms online on short notice is a chance to be dissapointed.. But our "Room with view" turned out to exceed those timid terms. The view was spectacular! From early morning sun to the golden light of the late afternoon; from our own little balcony the green valley lay stretced out below, far and wide, with the glimpse of the village Montepulciano in the distance and the high end of the castlewall of the charming little village of Pienza right next to the breakfast garden. The Renaissance village is situated on a high cliff in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and makes it a perfect base for daily excurscions, the distances are short to the more wellknown villages. The old center of Pienza is beautiful and very quiet. Our room at Piccolo Hotel La Valle itself was small and simple but the spectacular view and our little private balcony compensated for anything! Everything was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very nice (with window with the same view!). One single thing; the cheap bedside lamps kept falling apart! The breakfast buffet was good and and the staff very friendly. The hotel has its own underground parking and a very nice little outdoor area and garden to sit in. My husband and I was very pleased with our stay and can recommend staying there. Espescially in low season it can be a good bargain for the area. Amabilité du personnel belle situation

La situation avec une superbe vue depuis le petit jardin et la vue de certaines chambres, la très grandes gentilesse du personnel, les chambres de 20 m2, pas très grandes mais bien aménagées. Bon petit déjeuner.

Alles! Tolle Lage (Zimmer zum Tal nehmen, aber die zur Stadt haben Nachmittagssonne), ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet, kostenlose Garage, sehr freundliches Personal, Aussichtsterrasse - auch fürs Frühstück, man ist in 2 Minuten in Pienza!!!

Дружелюбный персонал, парковка, хорошие завтраки, прекрасный вид с балкона. Удобное расположение для посещения других мест в Тоскане. В округе большое количество ферм, ресторанов с прекрасной домашней тоска ноской кухней и виноделен. Недалеко два аутлета, один в районе Ареццо, другой в районе Флоренции.
