The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The location is spectacular.

The room was a little bare. It would have been nice to have a comfy chair to sit in.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location was excellent right in the middle of Orta and its medieval narrow cobbled streets. A 2 minute stroll to the jetty for the boat to the Isla de Guilio. Great Restraunt with stunning food and good prices. Excellent wifi service in the breakfast room with one of the best breakfast you'll get in any hotel across Europe.

No close parking for free. But 10 euros a day only a short walk down into town.

Perfectly comfortable, good central position, VERY good breakfasts. We treated it more like a superior B&B. Also a very nice evening meal by the same management, with very helpful and friendly staff.

Very nice place to stay at in Orta San Giulio. I really liked the breakfast which they served in a different location at some nice little piazza! Also the reastaurant which belongs to the hotel offers great food! The room was good, clean and spacious and located about 25m from a nice little mole where you could go for a swim. The staff is very kind and helpful, too. I can highly recommend this hotel and will surely check in there again if I ever return to Lago d'Orta.

I think they do not offer 24h check in, but this was not relevant for me at this time.

Clean, comfortable and spacious We enjoyed our stay.

The room was dark. I appreciate that it was on the ground floor but could be improved with better lighting. The room was very bare - no pictures on the walls or ornaments of any kind. A few pictures on the walls or some objects on the shelves would make a big difference.

Very good. Not polished but very clean and credible accommodation. Great location to visit if a little hard to get to (parking is not straight- forward). All that said, highly recommended.

Fabulous breakfast in sunny square. Friendly and practical service for my rather disabled mother. Enjoyed our stay. Wish it had been longer.

Arrival was tricky as police did not allow car assess on the Sunday.

Centrally located in the village. Close to restaurants, attractions. Ferry service to nearby island and other towns around the lake. Room was well appointed.

Being right on the street that leads back to car park, you hear late night diners leaving the village.

Great location in the heart of Orta. We had a room with a view of the lake (just a small glimpse but a view nonetheless). Comfortable bed and plenty of space in the room. Staff at the office were very helpful. Received a discount at the Olina restaurant which, added to the free antipasto, and free appetivo, made for a lovely meal.

Bathroom was small and rather dark.

Could do with gown hooks on the back of bathroom door Internet connection low strength therefore slow, but it is for free and was in my bedroom so cant really complain too much.

It wasn't made clear when we booked that our room was up many flights of stairs with no lift - which was not ideal for when you have young children and cases to carry up. I also thought it was an expensive room for the facilities - especially when there was no lift and no porters to help you with luggage.

Position idéale dans le centre piéton. Très bon petit déjeuner servie sur la place principale. Lieu romantique. Très belle chambre mezzanine pour 3 personnes.

Salle de petit-déjeuner trop petite. Déco des portes de notre chambre vraiment de mauvais gout (on dirait qu'elles sont en carton tagué).

Die Lage, freundliches Personal, relaxte Atmosphäre

Das Zimmer war eher einfach. Die Qualität des Frühstückes war gut, der Frühstücksraum war allerdings unzumutbar. Kleiner netter Raum, in dem sich alle Hotelgäste treffen, allerdings viel zu klein. Man muss anstehen, steht sich auf den Füßen rum und schubst sich mit halbvollem Teller ums Buffet rum.

Wir sind früh abgereist (Heimreise). Zwar wurde mit den Zuständigen besprochen, dass wir vor dem offiziellen Frühstücksbeginn frühstücken können - als wir das taten, wurden wir vom Wirt wüst beschimpft. Eine ganze Kaffee vom Vortag stellte er dann schimpfend zum Aufwärmen auf. Üble Gastfreundlichkeit! Lieber hätten wir einen nachlaß auf den Zimmerpreis bekommen und auf das Frühstück verzichtet - das war dem Wirt aber auch nicht möglich, angeblich, weil wir durch das Buchungssystem gebucht hatten.... Wir raten dringend ab, in diesem "Hotel" zu übernachten. Bei den Zimmern wurd auch nicht gerade viel Liebe reingesteckt.
