Piccolo Hotel Puccini  

The hotel is basic but the room we had was adequately furnished. The location is very good, being very near to the centre of Lucca. The staff were incredibly helpful to us and this alone merits a good write up.

The location was excellent and and easy to find. The staff was friendly, making the stay pleasant.

The room was a little dark, and the carpeted floors needed to be vacuumed not sweep. Neither the TV nor the safe were operational. It's and older hotel that has not been renovated in a long time.

Our room window opened onto a central service duct with no view whatsoever. Suggest that you request a street facing room. The rooms have no airconditioning - there is a cieling fan which has only high speed or off. Both soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty.

The Staff were most helpful with every aspect of our stay. The breakfast was basic but plenty of coffee. The location is perfect for a short city break. Lucca is a great place and an excellent base for exploring the area.

You have to like a firm bed.

I liked the friendliness and helpfulness of both Lucca and Paola who were always on hand and nothing was too much trouble. This is so important when one cannot speak the language well, or at all, and makes such a lovely difference to one's holiday. The location was in the heart of Lucca's Walls - and my bedroom looked out onto the bronze statue of Puccini. It suited my purposes very well, and I shall stay there again in the future.

The hotel itself could do with a bit of updating and new carpets etc., but quite honestly this was not a problem for me - as the place was clean and the people friendly, and the room was quite sufficient for my needs.

Bagno piccolo, ma nuovo e funzionale, anche se mancante di bidet. Asta doccia con erogatore molto grande, che permette una doccia molto confortevole .

Hotel in splendida posizione, praticamente in piazza San Michele, arrivare dalla stazione è una passeggiata tra I negozi e I monumenti. Il personale è gentilissimo e attento. Pulito e ben arredato, la colazione è all'italiana, bevanda calda (nessun distributore ma vero espresso o cappuccino) e brioches, non aspettatevi un buffet. Ci tornerei sicuramente, tra le migliori sistemazioni a prezzzo ragionevole trovate a Lucca, che frequento spesso ultimamente. Molto silenziose le camere sul retro.

L'hotel affaccia su una stretta via medievale e sul retro ci sono altri muri. Il vantaggio è la tranquillità assoluta, lo svantaggio, almeno sul retro (ma l'ho chiesto io perché volevo dormire!), è la mancanza di qualsiasi vista, almeno al primo piano dove stavo io. Ma il bilancio è assolutamente in attivo!

Unico aspetto per me un po' critico e' stata la lunghezza del letto.....

Localisation de l'hotel, qui est très pratique pour visiter la ville.

Chambre à rénover (hors salle de bain), le style est très vieux + de 20 ans. Le système de huisserie des fenêtres est à changer on a vraiment l'impresion de dormir dans la rue. Encore heureux qu'il n'y a pas de passage de voiture.

A localização é excelente e as dicas sobre a cidade muito boas e precisas.

Es fehlt eine Klimaanlage sonst ist das ein schönes Plätzchen !
