Location, good price. Nice continental breakfast included
I had my own bath, however shower had only courtain what made all bath to get wet. Bit noisy with bus stopping just in front. Rooms also not well noise insulated. Besides that was a good option for the intended use.shower and sleep.
At least they made a small discount at the price
Good manager but very unprofessional staff.the room given didn't match with the pictures provided at the internet. Needs a lot of reconstruction inside the rooms. Dirty. Can not make a a shower because the cable of the bath was broken...
the location is good. Although if you have a car you wont be able to park at the hotel, you will need to park about 500m away.
the lady at the front desk was a little rude. Other than that is was a reasonable place to stay.
noise on the streat
Staff were very accommodating to my early check out and even provided a platter of breakfast the night before. Location was great to escape the Palio di Siena rush after it finished but close enough to walk.
The power points were an issue and the fridge didn't seem to work.
Location in the old town. Reception was polite!
Ugliest, dirtiest room I have ever rented in my life! Even if the room was quite cheap, it has to be clean. The bathroom/shower hasn't been cleaned for years and was full of vermins! The Walls were wet and you could see the mildew even if you were nearly blind. After 7:30 pm the Reception was closed you could only enter with the Door Code, which we lost - so we had to wait outside in the cold and hope that another guest stops by! It took 1 hour of waiting and praying! Never ever again!
Location to main square walking distance.
Bathroom had smell and mold growing. Room on main road and next to pub which had a soccer game on and many young people. Noisy, since no ac had windows open. Fortunately, it quieted down by midnight.
Staff at check in was very nice. The location made for a fair after dinner walk. They did provide clean towels.
The bed felt as if it wanted to fall apart. The air conditioning blew only hot air, the wifi was poor to the point where it was almost impossible to access from the room. The bathroom had many issues such as , the toilet needed roughly 30 minutes for the tank to refill, a mysterious pool of liquid appeared by the bathroom door and the overall cleanliness was low. For the facility it seemed over priced.
Room very small, not clean. Traffic noise bad. Bathroom dirty, toliet seat broke unable to sit on it, no hot water. Booked for Two night asked to be moved after first night
Spacious and location
No kettle to boil hot water and they don't change towels for us.
the location was very good both close to the station as well as to the city centre. Nice view from the little balcony.
the en-suite bathroom was far too small and difficult to shower. The bed was quite uncomfortable. Ok for one night but if i had to stay longer that wouldn't work for me.
rooms were dirty and moldy. we had spiders and bugs.
Dirt...cold room...mildew...rude staff...human hair in the bath tub..."surprise" in the toilet...we left after we: 1st asked for a new room,2nd we asked for price reduction,3rd we asked them to clean the room. The receptionist rejected everything we asked. Couldn't talk to manager, there was no Guest book...the day after, the receptionist reported, we didn't show up...
Very conveniently located, very good price, nice staff
Bathroom a bit too small, no shower cabin.
Very comfortable and clean; great breakfast
Non smoking room smelled like smoke.
Great nice staff.
Check out 10'clock, after night party it was too quickly.
Cold rooms, the AC wasn't enough to warm the room
1- breakfast: in particular prepacked cakes. 2- shower with tiled basement
Centrally placed so able to walk for sightseeing, restaurants. One of the receptionists was very helpful.
Noise of busy street traffic at back of hotel. Eccentric bathroom arrangements. No resident management and no staff after 19.00
This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.The outside is decrepit the room was dingy and dirty. There was a mass of wires lying on the floor. As an afterthought a tv had been put on top of a very small bar fridge.PARKING Was more than a mile away with a very steep uphill walk BACK.Staff were very unhelpful This hotel is a disgrace
You could lock the door
It was dirty, the bathroom floor was wet and some spots of mould growing in the shower. Definitely not worth saving 20 €
The hotel was accurately presented, and we found it to be very appropriate for our one-night stay. The owners have done a good job, converting the old monastery into a simple and functional hotel.
We knew that parking was not a part of our package, and the desk attendant was quite helpful in directing us (after we had unloaded our two bags from our car) on how to find the public (free) parking. We found the lot and a place (this would be very difficult to find in mid-day---as opposed to our late arrival---as the lots fill during the day). Siena can be a confusing city to learn---so we had an ordeal finding our way back on foot after dark, especially with the photocopied map provided to and by the hotel for guests. We thought the hotel was fine and the attendant was gracious and helpful, but it would be a real plus to have a legible map that shows specific, direct routes back into the old city for those of us not familiar with Siena.
Location Fridge in the room Distance from the main noisy street
good location and staff
very small room, and bathroom. when you have a shower after all bathroom wet((( somethimes very noisy
