This is a lovely, quiet and rustic place! It is centrally located in Tuscany and a perfect location for a relaxing home base. Luciano and Christina are well acquainted with the surrounding area and most gracious. Our room was very clean and comfortable (with an amazing view of San Gimignano). We were sad to leave!!! Finding the place is a bit of a challenge. You should do your homework ahead of time - if you don't you may have a difficult time. The road from Poggibonsi is narrow and fairly busy, so it is helpful to have a good idea of distances and turn offs before you head out.

This is a real hidden gem just outside the small town of San Gimignano. Perfect for a relaxing, quiet getaway and as a base to explore Tuscany. The views are beautiful, fantastic outdoor pool and lovely rooms. The owner was very friendly and helpful, recommending local restaurants and sights which were excellent. Make sure you take the free cellar tour of the winery at Pietrafitta and taste the wines, a great experience, you just need to save room in your case to take it all home with you!

Superb location in a secluded area, beautiful views of tuscany hills. Modern and functional bathroom. Not signposted dirty track to reach location. Closer to a self catering rather than hotel, save for continental morning breakfast, but without real possibility to use kitchen. Minimal furniture.

The hotel was fine. It would have helped locate the hotel quicker had there been more signs from the main road. The shorter route had no signs. The longer had a couple. The hotel itself has no signs at all also.

Dit bed and breakfast lag op een prachtige stek, schitterend uitzicht over heuvels Toscane, beloftes hierover geen woord teveel. We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, het was er overal brandschoon en ontbijt prima met vers gebakken brood, kaas en vleeswaren, yoghurt met cereals, druiven, tomaten, jam, koffie en thee, sapjes en melk en zoete taarten. Het is een mooie rustige lokatie, met stadjes binnen goed bereik. Op onze vraag naar restaurant in de buurt fantastisch advies gekregen van Ludciano. Een echte aanrader voor wie romantische rustige plek zoekt, buiten de drommen toeristen en toch centraal voor stedentrips.. Er werd gezegd dat het pad naar bed and breakfast lastig vindbaar was vanaf de weg en daar kan ik mij wel iets bij voorstellen. Maar als je er overdag komt, is het wel te vinden, al was het pad met wegwijzer niet de kortste route en denk je even dat je niet goed zit. Ludciano wees ons daarna een kortere weg, waar dan geen wegwijzer stond, maar met goed opletten naar herkenpunten voor terugkomst in donker was eigenlijk genoeg om het weer makkelijk terug te vinden.

Geweldige locatie met een fantastisch uitzicht op San Gimignano. Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Erg rustig. Nadeel is het slechte toegangspad; vooral in donker.

Il casale è bellissimo,anche se un po' scomodo da raggiungere ma è immerso nel verde della campagna toscana e a due passi da San Gimignano e ben collegato con gli altri magnifici paesi intorno. Siamo stati i primi ospiti della stagione e la piscina non era, ovviamente, aperta ma l'ho immaginata in piena estate: totale relax! Il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci ha offerto anche un giro delle cantine della Fattoria Pietrafitta. Forse un non adeguato rapporto qualità/prezzo vista l'offerta solo del B&B.
