The hotel is in a central zone and 10 minutes from the metro (stop Università). The room was really calm during the night.
There are problems to pay by credit card because the owner wants cash. If you want the receipt, the owner will ask you some extra money but this is neither legal nor correct!!
very historical center, close to main sightseeings, natural Italian style, can make to feel the city! friendly stuff
not easy to find at once proper building, very crowded by students, while working University is very close to the hotel, stairs to the second floor can make your way with luggage a bit difficult ))
Beautiful room with high ceilings and stylish furniture. Great bed! Fabulous central location. Ideal place for romantic nights:) My husband and I enjoyed it really-really much!
The atmosphere, furniture and the cleanliness. The owner is helpful and friendly.
The main entrance gives very bad impression at the beginning.
It was just in the center of the Centro Historico, so you can walk everywhere. Staff were friendly.
It only had wifi in the reception. There are many stairs to go up - it's kind of hard with heavy luggage, be prepared! And if you take a subway and walk to the hostel, be prepared for going up with luggage through a small hill and street with big rocks... Best tip: take a cab! It's cheap and worth it!
Friendly helpful owner. Beautiful room and hotel. Nice stay.
Punaise de lit!
We didn't get run down by cars in the very busy street.
Noisy location. Smelly bathroom with a primitive shower with no rising rail to attach the shower head. Curt staff who were only interested in reminding us to leave by 10am - we left much earlier when we were woken by someone noisily re-stocking the vending machine outside our bedroom door.
Location and conversations with staff. Very friendly and informative but not intrusive. Nice balance.
Wifi good and staff were helpful with directions and taxis lovely old building we felt quiet quite safe there
Was in a old part of town. Nice to walk around.
Owner seemed very money minded - accepted only cash which was kind of strange, spoke basic English (or no English depending on the situation). The room was kinda OK in a historic building - the toilets had very basic amenities (shower was a big problem - if you have a 2.5 yrs old kid, you will understand the importance..). I would rather suggest people to use a better hotel nearby. We met a few German tourists staying quite close by in better hotels nearby..
Ideal location for downtown Napoli. The immediate area was a bit scruffy but full of character and charm. Hotel was clean and tidy and excellent value for money.and would suit a solo traveller or young couple.
I was asked to pay in cash the day before checking out which I though was strange but no real problem.
Extremely nice and helpfull owner. Great location. Room got cleaned everyday. All basic needs provided.
The location was perfect - right in the very heart of the old city. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The hotel was located on a very quiet street making the room quiet and easy to sleep in.
The shower could be modernised.
The staff was extremely friendly helpful with information. The room was absolutely wonderful, clean and spacious.
The area had me clutching my bag closer to my chest, but it was all in my head...I think
It's a second floor with no lift which makes it really difficult when you arrive with the luggage, furthermore the hotel is on a hill. The toilets are dodgy, there is no shower hose and the tank that supplies hot water lasts only 5 min, therefore if you are in two the first is going to enjoy a hot shower while the latter a freezing cold one (unless you want to wait 15 min for the tank to fill up again). The owner is dodgy as well, upon our arrival he played a good trick: he showed us a room but he closed the door straight away saying that the room we have booked was not available and that he was going to give us a bigger one. When we were required to pay he played on it saying that we should have payed more because we were in a more spacious room that no one requested... Dodgy dodgy dodgy
I liked the area, close to the centre and well connected to bus and metro services
The electrical boiler in our room wasn't enough to keep the water hot for the both of us.
position in the historical centre
reception closes at 1.00 am without any possibilities to access the hotel in the late night; bath of the single room to be rebuild because of water leakages from shower; Wi-Fi connection not available in the room but in the hall only
The owner is extremely rude despite his seeming kindness. He accepts only cash and once you have paid if there is a problem you will never see him again.
