What a fabulous way to spend a night! Its far more exciting than staying in any hotel and was a refreshing change as we tend to stay in hotels a lot. We were incredibly lucky as we happened to be the only guests on board that night, maybe others stick with traditional hotels, but you won't be disappointed by going for something different like this. It had 5 double rooms on our boat but there are 3 boats in all. Mount Vesuvius dominated the background as we lazed on the deck while it bobbed gently in the harbour. The captain cooked us dinner, we asked for Carbonara and bruschetta which was delicious and with a bottle of wine worked out at around £25 each and was so much nicer than going to a restaurant. I would highly recommend it. Its not easy to find!! Its quite a trek from Castallamarre di Stabia Station, and there were no taxi's outside the station, the postcode took us the wrong way and all in all it was not an easy experience in getting to the boat itself. We called the number given several times but to no answer and it was only with the help of a local that we found it. We also expected a free transfer back to the station, but this didn't seem to be a part of anyones plan and we had to order a taxi at €15 which was a bit annoying. It wouldn't put me off recommending it, I would just discuss arranging someone from Plagia to pick you up from the station and calling before you go.

Great staff. Very welcoming. Prepared a wonderful and delicious dinner with appetizers for us which was not arranged in advance. Gave us a wonderful tour of the boat. Great place to relax and get away from all the tourist spots. Coffee excellent Directions difficult. Boat and marina hard to find. Breakfast only sweet items. Would like some cheese and ham possibly.

Boat is amazing and cabins spacious, bathroom luxurious, absolutely spotless. Quality better than in many expensive hotels. Crew was amazing and made us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. Close to Vesuvius, Pompei.
