The location is ideal for day trips, either by boat or bus, to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello etc. Hotel opposite train station but no noise at all. Great shops and restaurants nearby. Staff very courteous and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Plaza and would stay here again.

It was such a nice hotel for the money we paid. I was very impressed with our room, the amenities, and the help we received from the front desk. The location couldn't be more perfect - it's right across the street from the train station, and a few blocks from the beach and ferry pick-up/drop-off. The breakfast was great as well!

Hotel is located directly opposite the main Salerno train station. Hotel reception were efficient. I found the room allocated to be very noisy from trains and buses in Piazza Vittorio Veneto (Piazza Ferrovia), and from within the building. I politely asked at Reception desk for another room, a back room, and my wish for alternative room was granted. All rooms were very clean. Breakfasts are adequate to begin the day.

Noise in the front rooms from the trains and buses in piazza; but problem resolved by moving rooms.

A clean, comfortable and relaxed hotel immediately opposite the railway station in Salerno. Ideally placed for onward travel or a base for exploring the region. Good value for money with a reasonable continental breakfast in the price.

Very convenient location, with pleasant room having balcony overlooking central square. No real noise intrusion.

Everything was good. Excellent location close to the port, the commercial street, the railway station and the buses terminal. It is not noisy and it is confortable. The staff is efficient and warm.

Location next to railway station and bus terminal, yet very quiet and pleasant.

If any criticism, perhaps lack of signage to the hotel- the terminus square is quite large and it took us a little while to determine the hotels location.

Situated just in front of railway station and at the beginning of the main shopping street, which ends in the medieval district, 25 metres from the boulevard, thus very well located.

Eur 85 (incl. simple breakfast) / night is a bit expensive for such a hotel, which is not one of the modernst.

Great location, opposite the train station, as a base to explore the amalfi coast and pompeii and other sites. The hotel was close to restaurants and shops.
