The prestigious Grand Hotel Plaza is set in Rome’s most exclusive neighbourhood. Exuding charm and grace, it guarantees an unforgettable taste of Roman hospitality.

The hotel building dates back to the 19th century when it was a noble residence. It retains its traditional design with its elegant choice of furniture, fittings and fabrics. The Grand Hotel Plaza offers spacious, comfortable guest rooms which have hosted the likes of Winston Churchill and Charles de Gaulle over the years.

Its grand reception rooms are ideal for any business engagement or special occasion. Representatives of European member states met here in 1957 to discuss the prospect of a Single European Market. The hotel’s spectacular interior has also featured as the setting in a number of movies, most recently Ocean’s 12.

Your stay at the Grand Hotel Plaza would not be complete without visiting its rooftop terrace where you can admire the spectacular views of the city centre while enjoying a fine glass of wine. Actually it has a charm of being that old but I saw some real water leaks in the hall that is absolutely magnificent. Staff is not gentile and lazy. No room service for food at night. Don't sell cigarettes. Service is absolutely not 5 star. Best rooms are junior suites at 5th floor - 562, 564, 566, 568 - huge terraces and views at piazza di Spagna	4.5
