The staff were friendly. Even thought they didn't speak much English they tried to be very helpful. There was free internet for guests. The hotel was situated just across the road from the train station. |

The location - it was right opposite the Railway Station and Ferry to Sicily. It was clean and comfortable. Also free use of Internet. Breakfast was average. |

The Hotel was right across from the train and ferry stations. They provided free internet access although there was only one computer. The bathroom was great! The staff do not speak any English so obtaining information was difficult. The Tourist Information person does not work week ends and was not apparent on week days either. There were very few restaurants around the general area. |

The entry foyer is very elegant and inviting. Parking immediately outside was very convenient. The hotel didn't have a restaurant for dinner. Buffet breakfast was very basic. Probably should have stayed at Reggio di Calabria instead, because Villa San Giovanni, or at least the area around the hotel, has nothing to offer for visitors. The only restaurant suggested by the hotel staff for an evening meal was at a hotel down the road, so we drove to Reggio di Calabria-much better. |

It was very comfortable and the staff were helpful-it was near the train station and ferry for Messina the breakfasts could have been better |

location just opposite the train station. did not have to use taxis to get around town or back to the station. staff was most pleasant and spoke enough english for me to be able to communicate. the fact they advertised free internet access but did not make it available to me. |
