Beautiful river view. Very modern and comfortable room. Stunning roof top terrace with views over the whole of the city. Perfection.
Only downside, slightly tired decoration in foyer. However, did not detract in the slightest from holiday.
Great location, great breakfast, excellent staff and a very good stay!!
The pillows were either to soft or to hard, I could not find a comfortable one!
Some works have improved the hotel. The new rooftop is amazing. Even if the pool is very small it is a perfect spot to relax with an amazing 360° view over the city of Florence. The new rooms are attractive. The staff was very kind and we were lucky to be upgraded to a room with view over the river!
Breakfast is nice but lacks some basic things like Nutella (c)
Great helpful staff The bar staff were exceptional made amazing mojitos Nice open top pool area on top floor
Drinks a little expensive Telephone reception very confusing Breakfast finished earlier than scheduled Wifi reception poor on top floor
The location of the hotel is perfect - 5 minutes walk from all the visits, The rooftop with swimming pool is amazing with a 360° view on Florence and all the main monuments.
Very small bathroom !! not at the level of the rest of the hotel The breakfast is a bit disapointing The lobby is a oldish
Big rooms, location, rooftop pool and bar, great view.
There are new rooms and old rooms, ask about it during your reservation.
The wifi was unusably slow and unreliable.
Live music at roofbar
We had a wonderful 8 days at this hotel. Great location, service and amenities. The roof top pool was a lovely place to relax and the views were simply stunning. Food was very good too. Excellent breakfasts and we hada nice meal in the restaurant. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming, so a big thank you is due to them for helping to make our stay so pleasant.
Couldn't really fault this hotel, a real gem! Only negative was perhaps the very high price of drinks by the pool.
The views of Florence and the river were beautiful. The view from our room of the Duomo was breathtaking. Our room was bright, spacious and airy, with an excellent, if dimly lit bathroom. The rooftop pool overlooking the whole city was a delight in the heat, and there is a lovely bar on the same terrace.
The coffee at breakfast - unless one asked specifically for a double espresso was extremely weak, which was a pity because the breakfast was excellent. Also, there was little shade on the rooftop terrace.
Fantastic hotel with great service and very friendly staff, great central location only 5 mins walk from the main tourist attractions.
Nothing at all, geat city.
Location is very good right at the bank of river Arno. Only some of the rooms are nice. The new rooftop pool and bar are probably a good bonus (they were not yet open during my staying).
Only some of the rooms are refurbished. The soundproofing in some of the rooms on the first floor could be better (to prevent noises from the corridor to be heard in the room). Plenty of reception staff at times but still service could be smoother.
internet means no.
Excellent localization, attendants weel trained, give all information that you need, cleaning is ok, confort too.
There is nothing that I didn´t like. Maybe could be a little bit cheaper.
Location staff and general accommodations.
Beverage prices in bar
Kind staffs, perfect location, very clean, perfect breakfast
Staff was great. Room was large and very fresh. Close to everything, 20 minute walk at most. View out our room on the back of the Hotel was fantastic! Breakfast was amazing.
Parking is a little expensive, but glad they had spaces available. Bells of the near by church start at 7am.
Excellent Location, nice breakfast, lovely clean bed linen, very comfortable.
Refurbishment work ongoing meant that a room that would have had little view anyway had only a view of some dirty scaffolding!
View from our room and the bottle of wine to greet us on our Anniversary.
The 2 older men at the reception were Rude! They had a bad attitude and not willing to help! The same is true in the dining room! I read on line that a couple of people said it was noisy due to construction repairs, they are Right! One day it started at 6:30 am and they were still working at 7pm. Be ware when booking here! The room is lovely but a hard mattress.
Great location on the river and walking to all the sites
Facilities a bit tried and dated. Booked some 8 weeks in advance so would have expected the best standard room. There 4 nights and the airconditioning didn't work and couldnot open the window that overlloked a lifgt shaft because of the kitchen exhuast fan. Still locked into 1960's charm which is nice in a traditional town but could do with some modern facilities that work in the rooms
It's Florence. Hotels are expensive; buildings are older and rooms are smallish (by American standards). In comparison, this one was reasonably priced and excellent in its service and appointments. The location by the Arno was delightful, and not too far from everything else. Staff was super - even let you practice poor Italian with them. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. We would stay there again. Great place!
It was a pleasant hotel.
Room was very, very small with terrible view. For 200 dollars a night, it seemed like a lot, even in peak season.
Good size room comfortable, pleasant location across road from river. Very good breakfast.
Shower over bath arrangement - single hot/cold bath tap plus linked shower head - seemed old fashioned & did not work well - not easy to get hot/cold balance from shower head and could not stop very hot water from flowing on my feet out of the bath tap while shower was running. My room & bathroom was at back of hotel with no curtain or blind on the very large Approx 8 ft high bathroom window. Although the window was frosted glass it felt rather exposed at night with bathroom lights on as the window was overlooked by the apartment across the road just 30 feet away.
Clean hotel with friendly staff for the most part.
My room had no real window making it feel like a bunker. A nice bunker.
Room, front desk, complimentary breakfast.
