We stayed for 5 days, next time it will be longer.Very quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the countryside. Big bedroom and bathroom. Antoinella and her family do a great job keeping the place clean and up to date. Working wine and olive oil farm. Roosters for alarm clocks.
Even though the room had a door-window there were no windows, not good for claustrophobes and there was nothing else available. But when reserving who thinks to ask if the room has windows! Apart from this everything else was fine.
Location was excellent. Even though walk uphill into town it was not difficult.
everything was great! we had beautiful, big (65m) apartment with terrace (table + 4 chairs + 2 sun beds + grill); very big kitchen with living room, big bedroom and bathroom; we could cook everything what we want and eat on the fresh air :-) very nice swimingpool, but water for us was to cold ;-) we walked around vineyard and olive grove :-) Montepulciano city is very close (around 10min walk); the family owners is very helpfull and friendly oriented we recommend this place very, very much :-) it was amazing time for us :-)
We traveled 10 days through the tuskany. This room is in the middle of wine and olive trees, beautiful. The woman which welcomed us, makes own wine and olive products(she was so friendly and kind:) The room we slept in was great and soo nice. Everybody has to see that accomodation :)
The wifi was pretty slow but i didnt care about that.
Very relaxing place to stay. Lovely pool surrounded by olive trees. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The room was really spacious and had everything we needed. We were brought a lovely selection of breakfast items each day and we had our own table outside the room where we could sit in the sun and take in the amazing views. Of our 14 tour of tuscany this was by far our favourite and we would definitely return.
The road to the hotel wasnt lit and so avoid walking back from the centre in the dark - the second night we took the car.
We were only able to stay one night but we were so charmed and welcomed that we wanted to extend our stay. The Podere is a real farm still run by the family--exactly the sort of authentic experience everyone looks for. We had farm fresh free range eggs and farm-produced Montepulciano wine. The owners tended to the olive trees between welcoming guests. The apartment was adorable and well stocked, as well as clean. We had a great evening drinking wine under an arbor near the swimming pool. We highly recommend and will be coming back.
It was perfect!
10 minute walk from lovely Montepulciano, this quiet place is situated alongside a rural track where fire flies accompany you during nightly walks. Our room was small, but with a little kitchenette, and a table outside. Beautiful view, very quiet and relaxing, great pool. Would definitely return! I think I've fallen in love with Tuscany here...
place, relaxing atmosphere
Very friendly hosts and the most amazing property. We can easily say this was the best place we stayed during our 3weeks in Italy!
Well equipped kitchenette. Fantastic pool. Great location at the foot of the town. Their own wine is superb. Room has private access.
Would've liked more air in the room for the night, no window just French doors with no shutters
Very beautiful place and nice owners, always ready to help. Comfortable. Nice and clean swimming pool. On the one side, there is a pure nature around, on the other side, Montepulciano is in the walking distance. If I'll be in Montepulciano again, I'd like to stay again in this hotel.
the "room" was more like an apartment. nice old furniture. bottles of their wine awaits at the room for ~4 euros a bottle the staff were very nice and gave us good tips for later travels.
we arrived by night, would've been impossible without GPS
Their dog bit me.
Great spot, out of town, but very close to walk to. The apartment was huge, and well stocked. We had our own private terrace too. Breakfast was not included, but we bought groceries in town and cooked our meals for ourselves. They also had wine in the room you could buy for 5-11 euros which was convenient as well.
Their dog bit me. He also got inside and into our trash. The lady who checked us in was very nice, but the older gentleman who was there was very loud, stomping around outside our windows and shouting at her a lot. Very annoying and distracting.
Wonderful historical Italian house, with the helpful and smiling owners, swimming pool and olive trees around you! Just at the feet of famous Montepulciano, about 20 minutes to get to the very center of the city, on foot! Grazie mille per tutto! Lituania
the staff didn't know English and wern't very nice...
close to the centre, very nice surroundings, vineyards, olive trees, friendly staff, family farm
it was not possible to heat the room even when heating was working, could have been cleaner
First, this is a working farm. The staff, although few were very helpful and friendly. The granddaughter speaks English, although her grandmother does not. The setting is beautiful and a two minute drive to the city wall, or you can walk up a gravel road to the city. The apartments are very rustic and contain everything you'll need including a complete kitchen and kitchen wares. the views are great and the Wi-Fi is easy to use. Most of the apartments have outside sitting which is great for alfresco dining. Most apartments also have a wood burning stove which is romantic. The DEI winery is very close and a great place to taste wines. There is a swimming pool which opens once the weather warms up. All and all a very nice place
I suggest that you book when the weather is warmer as the apartments are cold in the winter and the guest has to pay for the LPG used to heat the apartment. You can heat the kitchen via use of the wood burning stove.
Cosy place you can taste a delicious private wine and olive oil made by the owners!
Location is fabulous and apartment just as described on working farm. Lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Comfy bed. Very homely.
A lot of difficulty communicating a problem as we dont speak Italian. Hot water issues made showering most unpleasant. Although credit cards accepted is advertised, on departure we had to drive to bank to get cash.??
