A lovely small B&B in the heart of Tuscany. Great location and beautiful roads and view all around. Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast wa excellent! Very nice and helpful staff.
The shower wasn't that great and the WiFi also had some issues.
Location - staff- breakfast- dinner
Every noise from the neighbor room
Almost all of staff made us feel right at home and always had a smile. Location is gorgeous. Beautiful country and mountain views. Room was very cute, loved the decorations. Bathroom was great as well! We had dinner 2 nights here, so that we could drink more wine, and would recommend!
Location, spectacular garden, nice staff, attention to details, beautiful room. I would go there again and recommended to all my friends. The B&B is located in a very nice village and from there we could drive around and visit great places.
The fact that they do not accept credit cards and they didn't have enough pillows. Plus wifi doesn't work.
Fabulous views. Garden has very private areas for you to relax in. Such a peaceful place to stay. Breakfast is amazing and if the weather is good you can take this outside and appreciate the fabulous views.
We had a first floor room so excellent views. This isn't a criticism of the hotel in any way but just be aware that you often hear dogs barking in the night.
Podere Palazzolois in a very beautiful setting , The owner and staff are very welcoming . Excellent food , easy parking , The perfect retreat .
- breakfast is great, and served outdoor - dinner food is ok
- overpriced (we've had far better deals elsewhere in Tuscany) - especially for a tiny room, albeit with a view. "spa" is advertised on the website but is counted as an extra (35€ per hour) and is merely a bathtub with bubbles. - not a true "agriturismo" - not far enough from Castellina to qualify, and no homegrown stuff - cash payment only - really short winelist - "bar closes at 7pm" : the staff was clearly annoyed to serve drinks on the outdoor tables at sunset (we were even refused this service on the second night), even though this is by far the sweetest spot of the hotel - the "morning lady" (probably the owner), in charge ou checkout, is quite rude - the swimming pool is small, and doesn't look clean - we didn't bath
Staff were attentative , met by a lovely young lady , she explained everything well , barbecue evening food good , quantity good and tasty ,breakfast really good , location ideal , town 15 min walk away , ( take torch for return ,or keep phone battery full ) peace full scenery staggering , would recommend
Braekfast , although plentiful and served nicely , had to wait for coffee and served as individual tables , ie you have to wait until table before you has everything served !!
They made a special effort to mark our honeymoon; fantastic staff - thank you Sarah and Laura and the chefs! Hotel grounds are superb and the no kids catering contributes to a very relaxing time;
Restaurant wasn't open in the evening without information earlier. It was the problem becayse to castellina in chianti is na few kilomoterea
Everything. We had told Laura that it was our honeymoon and when we arrived she had prepared an original panacotta dessert in our room which was the best we've tried in Tuscany (and they have been a few cause it happens to be our favourite dessert). We loved the house, the surrounding, the decó all around, the little areas outdoors to sit and relax... We had dinner there too and it was great, we loved every dish we got and the wine was quite nice too. Breakfast was fantastic too, with a variety of savoury and sweet options. The staff were helpful and very nice, and when we left Laura gave us a map with a route we could do that day before arriving at Montepulciano (which was our next destination) and we did it and it was great, thanks a lot Laura! We would have missed such lovely places if it wasn't because of you.
The only thing I can think of is that the wifi didn't work at our room, but if you go to the swimming pool area it works perfectly, and in all fairness, Podere Palazzolo is a place to get away.
The swimmingpool is very nice with a very nice view on Castellina in Chianti. We spent the afternoon enjoying the Toscany weather. Breakfast is good, served outside with Italian music.
AC would be appreciated.
The garden is big and cosy, the view amazing and the swimming pool is great
Beds are not comfortable, very poor isolation from other rooms so we could hear all conversations. The breakfast is disappointing, not buffet.
Romantic scene Breakfast and diner outside Very friendly staff Speak very good English Lots of places where you can sit and relax Big towels
Breakfast! Location (near sienna, san gimiano, radda and greve in chianti)
location, cousy room, friendly receptionists.
A pour breakfest, there was nothing to put on the bread, besides some jams.
Location is superb. A moments stroll from quaint little village in the heart of Tuscany with a wonderful choice of open air restaurants. Approx only 20kms north of Siena and 40kms south of Florence makes this an ideal location. Laura and her staff are lovely and extremely helpful. Service is top-notch. Our room was more than adequate with queen bed, wardrobe, two seater couch, bedside cabinets and lamps, well equipped en-suite and mini bar/fridge. Very helpful that we cld get suitcases out of the way under the bed. Air conditioning wld help but we got used to it. Breakfast was salubrious and more than we cld eat. Sitting out in the morning sun in the lovely courtyard having breakfast is just bliss. A truly idyllic spot.... paradise. Very good size swimming pool with lots of wee areas to sit privately away from other guests if you wish. I'd certainly recommend staying here and would love to return. Very peaceful after a day of sightseeing. Very good value for money.
Can't think of anything..... Everything was PERFECT. Thank you so much.
Excellent location; great view Excellent staff (all of them), extremely friendly and service minded Very romantic setting; ideal for couples Great restaurant with very good food for a decent price offered in the garden to enjoy the scenery
nice location in the heart of Chianti region, beautiful view over the vineyards, very good service provided by the girl Sarah
not very rich breakfasts, wifi didn't work properly, very thin walls so that one could hear everything next door, there was quite cold water in the shower, low choice of meals and foremost wines
The villa and the garden are very beautiful. The position of the villa is very good. It has an excellent view.
The breakfast is very poor, without any local products like cheeses or vegetables and fruits. It does not look at all like the photo (it's also not a buffet). You are not allowed to consume any food or beverages of your own in the garden/room and the restaurant has quite a poor offer of wines/food and not so good. The WiFi connection is poor. The pool is small.
Everything was fantastic! The best panna cotta with fresh fruits!!!
Friendly and warm atmosphere with beautiful views. The property is quaint and it is convenient to have the option of having dinner at the B&B. Highly recommend this property. We hope to visit again in the future.
Lots of choice in the outside seating areas with many 'alcoves'. Friendly staff, good service. Great views. Good location, close enough to walk to Castellina, (even if it is uphill!)
Wi Fi was a bit hit and miss, it is affected by the weather and how far you are from the router. It doesn't work in some bedrooms.
