This is a fantastic place. The location is just outside Castellina in Chianti and the surrounding countryside is breath-taking. In the evening we would sit in the gardens and sip our wine. The staff is extremely friendly and everyone seems determined to make your stay as memorable as possible. After our arrival we were told that Superior room was available so we were upgraded automatically, without paying extra.. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the atmosphere very homely. A lady at the reception noticed that it was my birthday the following day and I got a bottle of wine as a birthday present! Siena and San Gimignano are very close and easy to drive to. If travelling around Tuscany, stay here - you won't regret it!

We had a great experience at Podere Palazzolo! If you dream of sleeping among tuscan countryside this is the place!

All I can say is wow! After spending a week in the chaos of Rome and Florence in the depth of their tourist season, there was nothing more refreshin than this rustic and charming country home. Palazzolo was the kind of warm,welcoming farmhouse holiday you hope to find but so often dont. It is confortable and well decorated in a homely, unpretentious way. Host Laura & Marta are always there in the background making you fell at home ut sensitive but customers' desire for peace and quiet, as though you are just living in their house.

Host Laura and the other lovely lady (can't recall her name unfortunately) were friendly and helpful. The cottage is nestled deep within the serenely beautiful Chianti countryside, and is an amazing place for any city dweller to get away from it all. Laura also prepares a generous spread of sweet and savories for breakfast. Rooms are charmingly rustic and with lovely newly renovated bathrooms which should make lady travellers happy.

There was no wifi here, but i think its part of the idea to turn off the ipads, iphones and blackberries and just relax!

... some ants in the room. All credit to the hotel though. They were clear efficiently and without fuss.

We enjoyed the room design, the gardens, many places to relax, building design, friendly personnel, beautiful views ...

Few things we didn't like: no VISA payments, no internet access, broken furniture in the garden.

Wonderful charm and character of the place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got to meet other couples traveling and share recommendations. Great location just outside of castellina so it there was no city noise. Beautiful views.

We stayed in romantic room overlooking the garden and there were a few frogs living in the pond that were very loud and active at night. Fortunately we had ear plugs otherwise we would not have slept very well. Always good to have with when you travel. Probably not an issue for most other rooms as they are on a different side of the building.

The location is great - it's on the hill with an amazing view on the Tuscany hills and there is only a 15min walk to the city centre (where they have the most amazing mango ice-cream). The stuff is very kind and helpful, with great sightseeing tips. Besides that, the food is delicious there - breakfast offers enough choice with small changes every day and if you want to have a dinner there, they have a nice menu with the most delicious Tuscany food.

The bathroom was a bit small, but still big enough to include everything that you need (wc, sink, shower, bidet). Since my boyfriend is an internet- freak, he was missing the Wi-Fi.

Приветливый персонал. Виды на тосканские холмы. Удобное местоположение относительно Флоренции, Сиены. Неподалеку есть винодельня Albola, там проводят бесплатные экскурсии и можно прикупить пару бутылочек.

Situation géographique. Calme.

En quatre jours il n'a pas été possible de prendre une douche à une température normale (on se brule ou on a froid).Pour le savon nous avons eu droit une seule fois, donc il faut en acheter ou l'amener. Pas de chauffage, car à l'inter saison, notre hôtesse n'allume pas le chauffage. Propreté à parfaire largement (poussière, toiles d'araignées...) Finitions (carrelage, électricité.....) lamentables

Ho soggiornato a Podere Palazzolo ad Aprile e siamo stati davvero benissimo, consiglio a tutti di andarci, è immerso nel verde della campagna del Chianti e abbiamo goduto di una vista fantastica. Lo staff è davvero accogliente e simpatico, ricordo Sara e Laura che ci hanno aiutato a scegliere un itinerario da fare durante il nostro soggiorno e ci hanno fatto gustare i piatti locali ma casalinghi della cuoca... Tutti ottimi!!!! In un giorno di brutto tempo abbiamo usato anche la loro piccola ma deliziosa Spa con vasca idromassaggio e sauna, è stato veramente rilassante, lo consiglio a tutti!!!! La camera è fantastica, luminosa , ampia e pulita.

Peccato che nel periodo in cui ho soggiornato a Podere Palazzolo ha piovuto, è stato brutto tempo per la maggior parte del soggiorno.

Il posto gode di una bellissima vista. Agriturismo in pietra che ben si adatta al paesaggio circostante. Cortesia della titolare. Castellina in Chianti è un paesino piccolo, ma molto caratteristico, merita una visita.

Colazione da migliorare (poca quantità e poca scelta). Camera vista giardino necessita di qualche lavoro di manutenzione ordinaria. Pulizia della camera scarsa. Sicuramente con un pò di attenzione in più ai dettagli può migliorare.

Alle Mitarbeiter insbesondere Laura waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit ! Traumhafte Lage, toller Panoramablick, gute Erreichbarkeit von Siena und Florenz! Gemütliche, romantische Atmosphäre, schöne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück und sehr gutes Abendessen!

Dass wir nur 1 Woche bleiben konnten! ;-))

Es war in der Jahreszeit zu kalt. Wie in den meisten südlichen Hotels zu einfache und harte Matratzen

Posto incantevole - vista mozzafiato. Struttura molto bella e piacevole.

1. Nel 2012 non avere la possibilità di pagare col bancomat e/o la carta di credito mi sembra assurdo! 2. ok che siamo in autunno e la struttura non è piena, ma se il ristorante è chiuso per la cena va comunicato agli ospiti prima o al momento della prenotazione.

L'accueil aimable d'une jeune femme parlant français (nous n'avons pas vu d'autre personnel ......). Une belle vue sur la campagne Toscane.

Très difficile à trouver. Podere qui veut dire maison ne figure pas sur le seul panneau que nous avons fini par apercevoir après avoir tourné pendant plus de 30mn........ Pas d'eau chaude le premier soir et le dernier matin, le mur de notre chambre était mitoyen avec la salle de bains de nos voisins et nous avions vraiment l'impression de les avoir avec nous dans notre chambre ce qui n'est guère agréable. La musique dans la salle à manger était trop forte. Piscine pas entretenue. Je ne conseille pas du tout cet établissement, seule vrai déception de nos hébergements en Toscane.

La posizione incantevole in cui si trova, sembra di stare nel mondo delle fiabe, e sicuramente i modi gentili e cortesi della signora Luciana e della signora Marta.Cosa da non sottovalutare la pace che si respira.
