That our stay was too short! We did experience some issues with the wifi and hot tub temp, but once notified of the problems the staff immediately acted to fix them.
Everything, especially the kind owner and the young English-speaking woman who helps her out. We staid in the least expensive unit and it was still quite pleasant. (Spend more money and you could have a room with a piano and a stunning antique Sicilian table--we peeked in when the room next door was being cleaned btw customers.) There are ample (classy) lounge chairs near the pool, which was clean and gorgeously situated with a view of the Crete Senese hills. We also made use of the hammock and ate our breakfast--which included figs we picked (with permission!) from the owner's trees--outside every morning. (Each apartment has its own little dining area, but there are also common areas facing the hills. One evening we spent a gorgeous sunset drinking wine on a sweet little circular patio near the terrace with the BBQ.)We hung around the property swimming, reading, etc. every day until lunchtime and then made the 20-30 min drive to Siena, which is easily accessible by highway. This was a good strategy as our kids weren't too overloaded with sightseeing and looked forward to the gelato! All in all, we were amazed at how classy this place was given the relatively little we spent compared to other places we staid in Italy.
