- the staff is really excellent. they are accommodating, treat you well and provide all kind of help without any problems. - The hotel is really clean and well maintained. - They have swimming pool, sauna and gym within the hotel and regular shuttle service to lacco ameno. The beach resort at San Montano is private, really amazing and is worth the visit. - If you can rent a car, this place is 10/10.
- the food is good but the presentation could be improved a bit more. - kitchen closes at 9 pm. Latecomers have to go to pizzerias outside the hotel to eat. - A bit far from the Main port (Ischia) so if you are looking for traveling in the evening or coming back at night, you might need to arrange your own travel medium.
It is even better than expected from the description. The staff: caring and friendly - make you feel welcome. Position: above the crouded main routes, private parking, and safe. All spots on the island are within reach, if you drive (roads are narrow though). Accomodation: comfortable, clean, clean air with fantastic view. The breakfast is above Italian hotel standard, and dinner is good. Spa is worth visiting from 8 a.m. and enjoy alone.
The hotel was superb in every way, staff excellent and very helpful, beautiful views, lovely pool area and lovely clean rooms! Would definitely go back and recommend to everyone who wants a quiet, peaceful and luxurious holiday.
There is nothing we didn't like or suggest to improve.
The grounds are gorgeous. The pool area and breakfast terraces are perfect. The hotel and grounds are so quiet it could put some people off but it was perfect for us. The view of the mountain, the handy shuttle bus and the not too arduous, actually quite good fun walk back from Lacco Ameno all added to an excellent week long holiday, Not much English spoken but we got by ok!
The dining room has a very canteen feel about it - the food was quite good but it did feel very school dinners which was so unlike the rest of the hotel. They should invest in some less harsh lighting in there to soften the atmosphere a bit!
WIFI is not sufficiently strong to connect to internet in the room, even at te breakfast terrace!
-The view from the balcony was stunning! -I loved the breakfast served in the veranda -Staff friendliness -Quality of all facilities, rooms and garden -...actually, I liked all!
very minor points: - wifi signal is very weak (to absent) when far from the lobby. - swimming caps compulsory in the spa area
The staff is extremely helpful. The owner is always there to help you. The location is beautiful because you are in a very green area. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast is full and everything is fresh.
You should take your shampoo and shower gel with you, there is nothing enough kit in the bathroom. The location is beautiful but quiet far away from the city center.
Great views, good breakfast and very nice people. Restaurant is very good, and does not tie you with a fixed menu-only option at dinner
Only 2 shower towels provided, not enough for my wife, daughter and I.
I stayed only one night in this fantastic place but if, and when, I return to Ischia, I will no doubt stay there again. The staff is friendly, the design is beautiful (nothing to do with the kitsch style you often see in Italy), the room was big and extremely clean. A particular thank you to Alfredo, Emilio and Nino !
I have to force myself to find a negative point. For some people, the location (a bit far away from the port and no bus connection late in the evening) could be a problem but for me, it wasn't since I was there to have some rest and envoy the peacefulness of the place. Depends of course what you are looking for ....
Extremely helpful staff with recommendations and help, wonderful views from the hotel, very good relaxation facilities, and excellent (and reasonably-priced!) food
The nature of the location (up a hill) is slightly limiting, and ideally WiFi would be available in rooms as well as public areas
front desk reception went out of her way to accomodate us...
