We are traveling with a 3 year old and a baby. The triple room is big. We have lots of space to put our portacot in the room no problem. It's about 15 mins short drive to piazza amerina. The hotel is lovely got a huge outdoor pool and a restaurant on site. Very peaceful and quiet at night with a stunning view from balcony. We love it there. Wonderful delicious sicilian buffet breakfast in the morning with made to order cappucino!!! Nice and helpful staff. Great value for money. Definitely recommend to everyone. Quite a few steps from the carpark to reception. A bit hard for pushchair and suitcases. The road lead to the hotel is steep and windy so if you are driving a car no problem but if you are walking then you might find it quite difficult. Wifi only worked at the reception floor.

We spent a night during the long road to the roman archeological site in Piazza Armerina, approaching from south-east Sicily. Nice choice, cause the late check out, the really good restaurant under the hotel and the beautiful terrace with swimming pool . Probably the best in the surronding area miles around. Nice continental breakfast. No wi-fi above the first floor. Only one lift. No hotel fault but if u reach this area keep in mind that roads are awful and only for seasoned drivers especially durin night time.

We liked nothing of Hotel Pomara. When booking online, the pictures show a beautiful hotel, states a view on the Etna and charming facilities. We had none of this so we were deceived. This hotel has not been renovated since the 70s and is a big ugly construction in the middle of nowhere. Piazza Armerina is far and the hotel is difficultly accessible (winding mountain roads). The service was basic to the least and the breakfast was less than minimal with packed biscuits, hard fruits and coffee basically. Last but not least, the room was stinky, old and dirty with blackened bath towels and grease in the bathroom. Overall, we would never recommend such a place and felt misled by the pictures and description online.

We stayed here before visiting the Roman mosaics at Casale della Romana and it did exactly what it said on the tin. A good-value stopover with a good pool and decent breakfast. And the best airconditioning unit we had in our whole holiday - quiet enough to leave on overnight. I was concerned that the setting - it turned out to be quite central in the town - would be noisy, but it wasn'T.

Nice view from balcony to the countryside. The swimming pool is really usefull because of the weather very hot! The breakfast is quite nice. The location of the hotel is not really easy because it is about 20 minutes to piazza armerina (villa di romana).

The breakfast was good - especially the blood orange juice. Adjoining resturant very good. Close to sites - went to see Morgantina excellent. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Internet did not work in the room had to go to the lobby.

Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good quality. Although the Wi-Fi was not working from my room, the staff was friendly enough to let me use their computer in office. When we saw the hotel sign on highway we felt it would be right off the highway. Actually it took a little time to drive uphill into a small town to find it. There is no any signs leading you to the hotel once you get off the highway.

Superbe. Je me suis pris pour un roi.
