The restaurant associated with the Hotel is quite good. This is important, since there is no other place to eat in this small village. The views from the hotel are broad, including Mt. Etna on a clear day. Plenty of parking at the hotel. The manager/reception personnel are not able to function in English. |

We liked the swimming pool, and the views from the hotel pool- they were beautiful! We did not like where the hotel was situated- on a mountain top! The drive up to the carpark was quite traumatic and often the hotel car park was full. No mention of this steep location is made when booking the hotel. Also we booked this hotel for its location to Barrafranca as we were visiting family. On the booking site it says that the distance is 13.9 miles- it is definitely much further- it takes at least 45 mins. This put a dampner on our holiday as we spent alot of time coming and going- a journey which we had anticipated to take approx 20 mins. |

Hospitality by Pomara family we have could see their efforts to satisfy their clients. As we arrived on a Sunday the hot water system was out of order but was repaired on Monday evening. Well being summer this was not a big promblem but managed to have cold showers? |

Loved the chlorine free pool, and the attached restaurant. (Good breakfast buffet, too!) Air conditioning was spotty, but it was not a real problem) |

Spacious room with balcony set back from the main road. Nice swimming pool area. On site parking. Restaurant very busy and noisy due to bus parties. Service was erratic on the second evening. |

Hotel Pomara heeft een uitstekende ligging ten opzichte van belangrijke culturele steden/plaatsen in de omgeving. Vanuit het hotel mooi uitzicht over het stadje en het achterliggende heuvelachtigeplatteland. Het bijbehorende restaurant serveert een goede maaltijd met locale specialiteiten tegen een zeer redelijke prijs. |

Im Hotel wird Deutsch gesprochen. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut. HP zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Der Chef Herr Pomara hat mir mit Rat und Tat bei Polizei sehr geholfen. Der Pool Ja, dass man bei Booking.Com im Internet keine Halbpension buchen kann. Kein Satelliten TV |
