rooms were done in pompeii colors which was nice. Nice breakfast spread. Clean rooms and close to ruins easy walking distance. Very nice town and duomo nearby on way to ruins. Do not miss the bufala mozzarella shop on the main street leading north out of duomo square.

The staff were friendly throughout our stay.
My partner and I are covered in bed bug bites from this '4 star resort'. We wrote to the hotel and we were told they were mosquito bites, however when getting them checking by a professional we were assured they were bed bugs and given cream and tablets. I would not stay here again!! My face is so swollen from the bites and the rest of the bites on my body are irritating. To have them dismiss the problem is appalling!!
Clean Steam-shower Friendly staff Close to the ruins
Paper-thin walls Still smells a bit of smoke
Friendly staff Cleanliness
Air conditioning did not work 100% Hotel has seen better days but in the process of refurb and excellent for the money.
Whirlpool bath Good aircon Secure overnight parking Friendly and helpful staff
enjoyed the gardens and the breakfast.
Unfortunately it was a little further from the ruins than we had expected. Luckily we enjoy walking!
it's modern the breakfast is good the bathroom is great has a nice balcony
everything was great
head waiter in restaurant Location Value for money
lack of service from front desk We did not know they had a courtesy bus to ruins found out through a fellow guest even though we enquired about the ruins all we were given was a map and not shown where we were in relation to map Lack of information about the ruins Lack of information on how to use devices ie television air conditioner
head waiter in the restaurant was excellent at his job
our toilet seat was broken in half and sticky taped together. The tape was wrapped around and around it and it was obvious it had been there for some time and while being cleaned, sediment had got into the layers of the tape. disgusting. We told them at reception.. nothing was done. Of course if they had cared, the seat would not have been scotch taped in the first place. Bed left both of us with back aches. Airconditioner only worked on full blast (level 3) level 1 and 2 just switched off. room temp was 17 degrees, so freezing. If we turned it off, we sweltered, if we opened the doors to let fresh air in, there were no screens so we were bitten constantly by mosquitos. so we closed the doors and froze and I left the hotel with a sore throat and a chest cold developing. Find somewhere else to stay
Nothing in particular.
The breakfast was awful. Probably the only place in Italy I have encountered bad coffee.
Don't expect to much. Many 2* hotels can compete with this 4* hotel. The shower is very unconfortable.
Breakfast was good
Generally staff good but on leaving the male receptionist was totally inefficient. Took us 25 mins to sort out ! Also long walk to ruins.
Loved the room, the ladies at the reception were really sweet and helpful. We were celebrating a 3 year anniversary and they arranged a cake for us at midnight even though they were told last minute. Staff was excellent and the hotel is really nice. Excellent hotel overall
The restaurant and bar area. Too bland. They need to do it up. Though the staff who served us went out of his way to arrange for honey, lemon etc did my fiancé's sore throat. Just the look of the bar and restaurant needs doing up.
on-site parking Nice garden
Bad mattress When taking a shower, the water keep changing from hot to cold... No towels in my room....of-course I notices it only after taking a shower... poor breakfast
friendliness of reception taxi bathroom fittings value for money
quite a few fittings were broken & the shower flooded
Close to the motorway.
This property is a bit far from town. We found that getting a taxi from town was difficult and very expensive 25 euros one way. If you don't have a car then paying a bit more to be closer to town and restaurants will be worth it, because you will save on taxis. The property does have a shuttle to take you to the ruins, but its availability at other times is very limited.
shower, cleanliness, building, croissant @breakfast.
ideas for improvement: fresh orange juice at breakfast
it had a roof
didn't like when asked if they had a phone to use in reception , told to use public phone in town no toilet seat attached to toilet
The hotel is great value for money! It is comfortable, personnel is helpful and they provide many services. Dinner was lovely in the outside terrace and cheap! The menu was so good I ate there twice. It's walking distance from the ruins. The location is not beautiful but in less than 5 min walk you are in the center with many restaurants and shops.
Air co was off one night, but it was not so bad.
Breakfast was not great. We arrived at 9:45, most things were already gone. We complained about noise and alarm going off at the middle of the the night, and someone who seems to be the owner, said she did not know anything about it and it wasn't the hotel. Which is not true as we've heard people calling reception. A little bit disappointed as we did not get an apology.
it was the best hotel on our journey around Italy. Wonderful value for its price! The rooms were very clean, the bathroom was equipped in a shower with hydromassage facilities, the served breakfast offered variety of choices both international and Italian foods (it was served in the form of buffet). the hotel has a very nice garden and a view on Mount Vesuvius. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The parkingplace was shaded. I really recommend Pompei Resort for a holiday. and Pompei offers a very good location and is close to many tourist attractions (Naples, Ercolano, Sorrento)
Easy to find by car, just next to the highway. You can see the hotel when you leave the highway. Also not so far from the trainstation. And you can walk by foot to the ruines of Pompei and the city centre. Ideal location for excursions to Pompei, Ercolano, Sorrento, Naples etc. It was clean and the staff is friendly and helpfull. There is a free parking. If you want to use the free shuttle to the ruines, you have to book it a day before.
Breakfast was basic. The coffee was not so good.
